I don't want you to hate me for what I'm about to say, but I have a dog named Wolfie. Please forgive me, I didn't mean to do it. But that's the only name I could think of at the time. He's an Alaskan Malamute/Collie mix. He is the biggest thing I've ever seen! He looks like an overgrown wolf. I'll post a picture on here some day. People are sooo afraid of him. But he's gentle as a lamb.
Who named you?

I got a collie from England once. She was a tri. Stuffed her on a plane and, voila! she's in America. Got her registered with the AKC and next thing she knows, she's an American Citizen!!

SAM i named him, the story goes two people walking through a field came up on a brick building and as we do wanted to see what was inside. All there was, was a bunch of old rags thrown in the corner and as they started to walk out they saw the rags move and under them was the Collie. They carried him and informed the RSPCA (animal people) who said he was far to gone and were going to put him down, another organisation called Border Collie Rescue decided to get him to live, and took care of him.
When i applied for a Collie dog i was offered SAM who i named, his head was bigger than his body, he was just bones and skin, and over a matter of months of him sleeping in my bed next to me and feeding him on a handful of biscuits and teaspoon of milk he came round to being a stronger and fitter dog. I had him for fifteen years and he showed me love and faithfulness like a dog should, he wasnt just a dog he was my loyal friend and part of my family. When he died i buried him with my bare hands with his favourite blanket around him, he had a marble headstone put over him, with loving and caring words. The previous owner a farmer was found, and said he had trained him for sheep, but the dog would not do as it was told, so he kicked and beat it, then eventually starved him to die, the farmer was banned from keeping dogs and fined very heavy so he wouldn't do it again.
I still have a picture of SAM over my computer to this day

What a sad but beautiful story. Poor dog. He was so lucky he had you.
Was he a border collie? Do you have any pictures you can post?

In it's context yes. Like those annoying porn advertisements that slip daily past my spamguard. Most likely Group 4 yes but should we tell? We have done yes a thousand times yes.

I note with indifference the Great One has yet to comment silent like the fireworks on Bloom's beach no doubt. But still we limp on inexorably like soft little bats. :)
