At first I had a serious problem with the forum, it made me feel really awkward reading it, and now it seems ok. I got past the layout and now I'm back to just reading the material.

Putting the named on top was the biggest help, I think.

Yes good for them, they're obviously picking up information and then posting where they feel is relevant. Imagine if everyone was a constant poster then?

Good, I hope you've found a lot of useful info. The layout does take some getting used to but in the end, it works.

I can see one or two people here who might be after the new moderator job.

ok, if you're going to make the names and all red and bold on the left side, how about just going back to the way it was?

now, if you actually want to do something constructive, why don't you label the pop-up boxes for hyperlink, [img] and youtube.. once they pop up one can't tell which variety they are and i tend to press the wrong ones all the time and only find out after the text has been places in the message.

ok.. GO!!! . :D :D

Why have so many of you deleted your avatars? Those of us who keep them will still be distracting you (unless you have avatars turned off in your settings). If you have avatars switched off, can you still have a really garish one of your own that only other people can see?

Yes, I did turn off all avatars (deleted mine) because that is the only way I can comfortably look at my comp screen. Mind you it is very boring now.

Dare iI say it? You get used to it after a while, even if it does still look wrong.

Don't you miss any of the avatars? You could switch the avatars back on, save a few of the best ones, put them on your wallpaper on the left-hand side of the screen and leave just enough of a gap down the side of the browser window.

That said, it is still difficult not having the Avatars on the left hand side.

It is like reading a play, and the words are spoken before you know who spoke the words.

I've tried. I am finding that having them on the wrong side irritates me almost to the point of getting angry, and I am afraid that I might say something to somebody I would regret later on. :)

It now says Member instead of Profile. It's a good thing that gender is mentioned on a seperate line.

Are my words not distinctive enough?

I guess we all have the one goal at least: to make the forum as enjoyable and accessible as possible. We just have different interpretations on how to get there.

well at least there would be a lot of different points of view, you know what they say, if you don't speak out you get nout :) if your a silent voice you will be ignored.

I'm actually quite happy being a member :) it sounds better than just being a profile, lol.

One thing I haven't noticed was.... a logout function.

Does it exist? Is it a secret button in the corner?

No. Once you're here, you're trapped forever...

Or you could click "profile" top left under the logo and logout from there ;)

Oh, ok good, now I can log out...

But still, isn't it kind of weird that it isn't readily accessible on every page?

The new layout is terrible. I'm used to the classic left-sided layout discussion.

Whose idea was is to change it? I hope it wasn't changed out of boredom. Do you people not have anything better to do than talk on an internet forum?

Agreed. It's all explained over the 14 pages :)

The flag is cool, I like it too, a lot :)
