hat is crazy and really silly in the sense that the avatar is almost the identity of a person, i didn't make this tornado sign for it to be thrown into the profile section!!!! all forums i know of have the avatar next to the post. DON'T GIVE THEM MORE CRAZY IDEAS!!!!

Now I see. First person to stump up the monthly operating charge gets the vote on features. Admin is the new Warren Buffet. Maybe Admin is THE Warren Buffet??

i suppose in a way yes i am saying that, a avatar is a picture or a snippet into somebodies life, an interest, a picture of themselves or something they enjoy or dislike so yes that is exactly what i'm saying.


well what partly makes up the identity of a person is their post, language, writting style, avatar pic, male/female, when they joined it just helps you get a picture of what somebody is like

That will make it text only. I predict a slowdown in new membership if that happens. The site will look boring and a lot of people won't bother with it.

No, that seems to be a lost cause. If I could change my view of the page I'd be happy. What you suggest in post 266 plus a little bit more.

The problem is that I already know that Admin is not in favour of gimmicks.

by the time ive got here there are 8 pages of posts...after reading everybody else's opinion i have become accustomed to the new layout.........

This is what I suggested yesterday. Some avatars are designed to face into the centre of the screen. And one or two now look odd.

If you read carefully, you could notice I've already posted in this thread that you can go to your "Profile" and select you don't want to see avatars in posts. It's simple as that..

But even with that, the screen doesn't have a balanced appearance by having the block of info on the right.

How come your Admin Avatar doesn't go away when I select Hide Avatars?

Can't they? I don't think so - there have never been any complaints or suggestions that the authorinfo is on the right-side; and it appears on the index page, latest discussions, unanswered posts, forum topics, mythreads, similar threads, checker, and favorite topics...

Just compare these pictures below that represent the LEFT-side idea of the content and RIGHT-side the username and other author info. Or you think the author-info should still go on the left? (it's still possible to change that :}

since i never used aqny of those so called 'features' i didn't give a hoot.. now i do and find this fvcked up beyond belief. and since you constantly suggest that we use google, i think that is what i'm going to do from now on.
