New taxes - 50% top rate on income tax in Poland?

Well Grzegorz's prophecy finally may be coming true

from Rzespospolita yesterday and various Polish TV today they are talking about a 50% top rate on income tax. Stupid idea, but this is a democracy so lets wait and see. I suspect it will increase the emigration of talented young people.

Also in Rzespospolita talk of a wealth tax on property, similar to French model, on assessed property values in excess of PLN 1m - basically a tax on people who made a good investment.

I'm sure someone with better Polish than I can fill in the details.

And that's good. But 50% income tax won't happen for sure.
