Polish Parents protest against Poland's pro-homo sex education

Polonius3 994 | 12,367

Cardinal Kazimierz Nycz led a march of parents in Warsaw on Sunday to protest against the promotion of pro-homo content in Poland's educational system. "The controversial sex education being imposed from above reflects the demands of LGBTQ community," a leaflet distribtued at the march stated. The dmonstrators fear outside agitators promoting abortions and sexual perversion will be brought into Polish schools to indoctrinate school children.

It is heartening to see Polish parents who take their job of child rearing seriously and will not be bullied by the loud and pushy homo-promoting lobby.

Bwahaha, challenge accepted :D

to protest against the promotion of pro-homo content in Poland's educational system.

Go on Polonius, please tell me exactly what "pro-homo" content there is in Polish schools. Go on :)

The only time I ever hear anything about homosexuals is when I hear my oldest kids at work making sly remarks about one teacher. They still think I don't know that they call him gay :D

The dmonstrators fear outside agitators promoting abortions and sexual perversion will be brought into Polish schools to indoctrinate school children.

I feel sorry for them that they don't understand even the basic needs of their own children and that they mistake sexual education for something that it isn't.

It is heartening to see Polish parents who take their job of child rearing seriously and will not be bullied by the loud and pushy homo-promoting lobby.

Have you actually looked at the pictures? Half of them are far too old to be rearing children, and the other half could only be described as "margins of society".

they are as sick as putin with his socalled 'homosexual propaganda" law. It is about time that Poland gets out of the darkness, treats homosexuals properly and also teach school kids about sexuality. In most European countries, schools offer sex education lessons.

Really! What kind of repressed retard still thinks about "evil homos" taking over society or indoctrinating children. People need to keep their noses out of where other people keep their noses.

In most European countries, schools offer sex education lessons.

Indeed. The problem in Poland is that it's left to unqualified (in that area) teachers to do it - so they often ignore it out of sheer embarrassment. It's particularly a big problem with girls starting puberty and male teachers.

Perhaps Polonius would like to tell us how he would ensure that all girls receive reproductive health classes.

what "pro-homo" content there

LGBT circles are infiltrating schools and instituions of higher learning as well as non-governmental organisations. In various way they are struggling to become a privileged, downright untouchable minority. And they start work at the bottom. They see to it that the content they're propagating makes its way into materials pormoting sex educaiton. They are loudly demanding their obligatory presence in Polish schools.

There will be more such propaganda in this school year since the Platformer education minister is forcing more such content down the throats of school children and teachers.

@Delph: some teachers, like you say, unprepared try to give kids some info while in biology classes but what I mean is that there are no formal sex education classes like in a lot (if not most) of European countries.

I have been told by several people in Poland that before marriage, would be couples need to attend "lessons" for a whole month given within the Church ;).

And as to "pro homo" propaganda in Polish schools, I would like Pol3 to give us concrete examples. Most probably he got this piece of info from the same source thru which he was informed of the police dogs guarding the rainbow ;).

I remember that during last PiS government, they had decided not to hire homosexuals as teachers because obvioulsy they mixed up homosexuality and paedophilia...

In terms of paedophilia, the RCC does not need lessons from others ;)

LGBT circles are infiltrating schools

I can assure you that they aren't. See, Polonius, I actually work in a school - and there is no sign of anything related to LGBT issues there. As I said, the only talk of homosexuals comes from kids, and it's in the usual childish "haha he's a homo" way.

and instituions of higher learning

I also attend one, and I haven't seen any examples of it.

They see to it that the content they're propagating makes its way into materials pormoting sex educaiton.

I've got a keen interest in the topic, and I haven't seen a single piece of material about it. And that comes as someone who would be first in the queue to qualify as a sex education teacher if it became a separate subject, due to the fact that 90% of teachers are utterly incompetent when it comes to teaching the subject.

There will be more such propaganda in this school year since the Platformer education minister is forcing more such content down the throats of school children and teachers.

Do you really expect any of us to take fronda.pl seriously? It's a very right wing Catholic portal that many Catholics hate.

@Delph: some teachers, like you say, unprepared try to give kids some info while in biology classes but what I mean is that there are no formal sex education classes like in a lot (if not most) of European countries.

Yes, it's an absolute disgrace. Some biology teachers are able to do it properly without emotions, but many others simply ignore that part of the programme. There's a dire need for teachers that are actually able to do it properly - not just about sexual health, but also about emotions and all the other things that come between 10-16. I did one class with my kids about "10 things I love about you" - and you should have seen the reaction. Books were thrown, there were tears, abuse hurled - yet at the end of it, they all admitted that they found it very, very difficult at the age of 11 to tell someone of the opposite sex that they liked something about their personality. They were bright enough to realise that "something has changed" when I asked them why they were best friends 2-3 years ago, although none of them could clearly identify exactly what.

As I said, I'd love to teach the subject properly. We can but hope...

@Pol: max there are 2% homosexuals (in Poland like in any other country), how the h...ll can they infiltrate everything? Considering the adult population in Poland, homosexuals may be a few thousands people only and not all homosexuals work in such fields (many are hairdressers, interior designers...).

If homosexuals in Poland were so powerful, they would have obtained same sex marriage.

max there are 2% homosexuals (in Poland like in any other country)

Mmmm. Some study (a paper in the Lancet no less - don't recall...) stated that 13% of the European population has homosexual tendencies - whatever that might mean........

.the education authority has a duty to educate - because ignorant Polish homophobic parents think gays don't exist, and the grandparents who teach the schoolchildren such disgusting hatred grew up in a sick society called communism.

Polonious is a good example of the grandfather I refer to.

PS: irritated to hell by the short time lapse for edit.

Yes, for some reason, Communists really had a thing against pornography and homosexuality. A lot of the "Catholic" views promoted these days are just rehashed Communist views.

@Dougpol: 13% no way! Do you see 13% gays around you? In any European (including Poland) type society, they say around 1.5 to 2%.

Good that the state's trying to improve social education in schools, and looking at the pictures of the oddballs with that Nycz person, I don't think there's anything to worry about. The mainstream is tired of these placard wavers, 'defenders of the cross', Family Of Radio Maryja, etc. they've simply lost their impact.

for some reason, Communists really had a thing against pornography and homosexuality.

Because they were against people living their lives. And after such pathetic censorship the Polish media went completely awol.
In spring of 1992 Katowice had a local TV show on every second Saturday morning. The first hour was given to "soft" porn clips, and for the second hour the SAME presenters then ran a children's show live in the studio.

You really couldn't make it up.

Do you see 13% gays around you?

No - the study said 13 per cent had some homosexual encounter, or specified desire (latent or not)

pornography

So you also advocate and/or promote pornography? Interesting! Do you favour all different kinds including incest (sex with gran), rimming, homo perversion, or just certain types. Do you think there should be more of it on prime-time TV? And would you want your little kids (if you've even got any) to regularly indulge? Will it enrich them, provide them with worthwhile cultural or spiritual values or expand their intellectual horitzons?

Or does porn simply create a caste of very rich producers and another class of short-lived STD-infected porn stars?

Do you favour all different kinds

Again, Polonious spells it out.

Do you think there was no interest in pictorial sex before the internet Polonious? Are you going to tell us you don't look at pron sites?

I do - and so does the huge majority of the internet generation. It's a fact of life, good or bad.
Now I suggest you grow up, or simply shut up.

@Pol3: please give us concrete examples of pro-homo sex education in Polish schools! I have been personally connected with several schools in Poland and I have never seen, never heard anything of the kind.

Once more: medias are very dangerous as don't report the truth.

PS: "Polish parents"? No, a handful bigots don't make "Polish parents"

So you also advocate and/or promote pornography?

If it's produced by consenting adults and sold to consenting adults and is legal, what's the issue? We're not in the PRL anymore, adults can choose what they want to consume. It does strike me as hilarious that the Catholic Church and the PZPR were equally scared of pornography, however.

Do you favour all different kinds including incest (sex with gran), rimming, homo perversion, or just certain types.

Incest isn't legal. The other stuff, as long as it's legal, I couldn't care less. I don't get involved with Catholics doing downright creepy things, and they shouldn't get involved with other people's lives too.

Do you think there should be more of it on prime-time TV?

Is there already pornography on prime-time TV? I wouldn't know, maybe you want to tell us?

And would you want your little kids (if you've even got any) to regularly indulge?

It's not legal for them to do so.

Or does porn simply create a caste of very rich producers and another class of short-lived STD-infected porn stars?

As long as everyone involved consents to the activity, I fail to see what the problem is.

@Pol3: please give us concrete examples of pro-homo sex education in Polish schools! I have been personally connected with several schools in Poland and I have never seen, never heard anything of the kind.

I'm still waiting too :D

I've never seen anything such - if I had, I probably would've sent a Facebook message to several people on here remarking how Poland has finally started embracing reality.

It has to be said that I've never seen anything pro-sex in schools, let alone pro homo-sex!
OP Polonius3 994 | 12,367

I don't get involved

Contact the education ministry about the content of their sex ed curriculum which they tried to pass under the wire for the new school year creating more things PiS will have to undo. I was only reporting what the leaflet said. Again, don't kill the messenger.

of course, there is no "pro-homo" propaganda in schools, whether in Poland and elsewhere. It is as sure as there never have been police dogs protecting the rainbow ;).

When shall the bigots stop imposing their backwards views to others? Instead of being so obsessed by homosexuals, they'd better clean their filthy Church.

To hate people like bigots hate homosexuals (+ of course everybody different) is not normal.

Homosexuality has existed since the very beginning of the humanity and always shall be so give the homosexuals a f...ing break!

when will the homosexual organizations stand up and one for all tell bigots of all creeds to simply f... off?

@Delph: of course, it is extremist catholic propaganda and not the reality.

These extremists are obsessed by sex.

These extremists are obsessed by sex.

What's amusing about this is that there's not actually a single shred of evidence presented by the "protest" organiser. It's just a huge rant about "gender" and without a single reference to a MEN document on the matter.

They are completely obsessed with sex though - even to the point of claiming that 5 year olds are taught about sex in school, which is an obvious lie. Looking at the "protesters", half of them were too old to have school kids anyway, and the other half looked like social retards.

If gay people had a choice, very f!ckin few of them would choose it.

I dunno, if you listen to what Polly tells us, gay people have constant sex and seem to live lifestyles that involve non-stop partying AND there's no risk of pregnancy. It's like a non-stop orgy in their world (according to Polonius) - who wouldn't want it?!

Daniel Sloss had a fantastic commentary on this - watch this.

There isn't any. What bigots can't stand is the idea of a neutral point of view being presented.

Unfortunately in this world there are individuals who just love being offended and getting worked up about it.

there is no pro-homo propaganda in any Polish (or other) school but unfortunately there sure is pro-catholic propaganda in Polish schools and more generally in Polish society.

Religion (and sex) should be a private matter.

Yes, Delph, they are most obsessed by sex. A lot of them are paedophiles, a lot of nuns get pregnant and abort.... and they would like to "teach" the rest of us their socalled "morals". It beats me...

Hyptocrits!

Although in those days, it was difficult and risky to do so, back in the 18th century, Molière wrote "Tartuffe" and Diderot "La religieuse" (which was made into a movie and of course the catholic Church complained but nevertheless could not stop the movie to be shown and people to go to the cinema).

Religious fanatics in ALL religions are very dangerous.

In my opinion, they are no.1 threat.

According to the pope 2% of Roman Catholic priests are paedophiles. A large proportion of teachers of religious education in Polish schools are priests, but there's a one in fifty chance that a priest teaching religious education in a Polish school is a paedophile. If the education ministry announced that there was a one in fifty chance that any teacher of sex education was a paedophile and that parents had to accept that, people would be right to protest. But instead people are protesting about something which simply doesn't exist. Why are they doing that? Might it be to draw attention from the fact that there's a one in fifty chance that a priest teaching religious education in a Polish school is a paedophile.

I certainly think that comes into it, but mostly it's just aggressive and judgemental misanthropes looking for problems that don't exist so they can get all hot and bothered. It's analagous to The Daily Mail's famous 'daily hate'. Some people are just haters.

In Poland we had the same thing with the Family of Radio Maryja's mohair berets protesting against non-existent threats. The obsession at the moment in Poland is with gender. Plenty of people railing about things they don't understand and which largely aren't there.
