Polish Primate condemns EU's anti-Christianity

The attack on a Coptic church in Egypt that killed 22 has grabbed headlines worldwide, but Poland's Primate Józef Kowalczyk has warned of anti-Christian discrimination rampant in the EU. Qualified officials are turned down because they are believing Catholics.

The Primate of Poland citing the appeal of Pope Benedict XVI " Religious freedom - the path to peace ," said that without the right to profess their own religion, there is no peace and freedom.

Mention of religious persecution affecting Christians worldwide , the primate pointed out that also in the EU , which is considered to be a model of democracy , Christians are discriminated against.

" It was so that if someone has declared publicly that he is a Catholic and defender of Christian values , he could not take the position ( in the EU - PAP ) despite qualifications recognized universally . This was an obstacle . It is strange , puzzling and very false in today's world " - said the primate.

The Primate is correct...EU is a form of 'soviet' and as such, subscribes to the same atheism, implemented through bureaucratic apparatus...One must understand that while certain aspects of European unity are certainly desirable, as former European Common Market illustrated, this EU is a precursor for a world government, although the model is on a smaller scale.

EU is a form of 'soviet' and as such,

You could make that same argument about the US, united states with clergy separate from government. Why is it when any group comes together to create competitive trading conditions people start yelping "communism" or "soviet". Wouldn't you make the same argument about the US?

And then there are articles that speak of massive infiltration within many governments by a form of fundamental Christians. Christ Plus Nothing gains monetary aid and other perks according to the link below. There is so much out there that you wonder what really goes on in any government. What do we really know about anything. Secular plots to take over the world, fundamental plots to take over the world.

@joepilsudski
The whole statement reads like sour grapes. You could type the same thing with US replacing EU and it would be just as meaningful.

this EU is a precursor for a world government, although the model is on a smaller scale.

The precursor to World Government is the Roman Catholic Church. The entire fascist movement (including Nazism) in 1930's Europe was intended to restore the Roman Catholic Church to Political Primacy that they had in Pre-Reformation Europe. The office of the Pope is modeled after the Roman Emperors, it is not modeled after Jesus Christ.

They are the sneaky creeps. The Roman Catholic Church are masters at political deception. They hide behind the cloak of Jesus.

They are the sneaky creeps.

Well, they are creeps I'm familiar with and I can estimate what I can expect of them !
Whereas some cellar unknown and mysterious creepy creeps are hiding behind a cloak of anonymity and secrets and those I would rather avoid!

Sure, who wants to hire a 25 year old female practicing Catholic?

Common sense if nothing else - maternity leave costs business a hell of a lot of money.

EU is a form of 'soviet' and as such, subscribes to the same atheism,

No it isn't and no it doesn't. The EU isn't a religious body, its member states vary from the strongly protestant or catholic to the not particularly religious. People are free to practise whatever religion they choose. Archbishop Kowalczyk would no doubt enjoy some sort of preference being given to his particular religion, but it's not going to happen. Just as in the US, religions and the legislature are separate.

this EU is a precursor for a world government

What's wrong with that?

massive infiltration within many governments by a form of fundamental Christians.

Religions have been 'infiltrating' governments for centuries - the RC church even has its own diplomatic service. But for something truly sinister, fortunately more in the Americas than Europe, check out The Pact.

The EU is a secular body, which means there is a seperation of church and state. People are free to practice their religion within the boundaries of law, and of course people are also free to abandon religion. I see no problems there. These outbursts of violence in Egypt have nothing to do with Europe, or Atheists for that matter.

What are you talking about? I'm only stating my personal preferences, whats wrong with that ?
I could have said that you to come out of asses you are currently stuck up in, and breath fresh air for a while!

Better that than some unknown and sneaky creeps !

Are you nut1s??

Enough of the crapp1 clerical society or do you strongly want to go back to the mile ages?

People are free to practice their religion within the boundaries of law,

Ask around within the the EU, if the immigrants can do that... thinking about the dutch adolf, his friends in Sweden a.s.o..

These outbursts of violence in Egypt have nothing to do with Europe

Maybe not directly, but it could be some kind of message.

Of course they can sascha, or have you seen any European atheists who are actively persecuting and/or killing Christians because religious fundamentalists - which are definitely not atheists - are killing eachother in Egypt?

I think the truth of the matter is that the influence of the Roman Catholic Church over the European population is dwindling, and that articles such as these could be characterised as typical religious attempts at fear-mongering, in order to keep its remaining followers more determined to cling to their religion.

I do not believe in endtime prophecies, and I am convinced that Christians have nothing to be afraid of in modern-day Europe, although they should learn to accept the fact that their political, as well as their social influence is deteriorating due to the seperation of church and state within the EU.

Why is it when any group comes together to create competitive trading conditions people start yelping "communism" or "soviet

I would suggest asking people in European nations such as Germany, France or even Poland whether EU has made them more competitive on world market...Reality of EU and other such organizations is to flood domestic markets with imported goods at cheapest prices...Motto of all capitalism is 'If it costs too much to build it here, i.e. workers get 'paid too much' you build it cheaper someplace else', like China...If Poland is so competitive in economy and job market, then why Poles all go to UK, Ireland or other places to work?...This is all globalism, and globalism only works for capitalist oligarchs.

Also, ask Europeans what effect large influx of immigrants has on labor market and culture.

Religion is seperate issue, but when a society descends to a base materialism, with no spiritual foundation, greed and criminal elements have a field day...This is part of what Prelate was talking about.

US is run by gangster mafia consisting of corporate criminals, military-medical-industrial complex and Zionistas...And, yes, US move toward 'soviet' environment: One only has to look at TSA searches of American citizens who wish to travel by air to see the most blatant example...Unfortunately, Americans are so brain dead and complacent that they accept this erosion of their rights...Soon, in US, you will need bio-metric ID to work in certain industries.

Actually, YeshuatYisrael has an interesting study on this. The EU may well be part of the one-world government alluded to in Daniel 7:23-28.

They are the sneaky creeps. The Roman Catholic Church are masters at political deception.

Thank G-d that you can say that on a Polish forum. I'm big-time Anti Roman Catholicism myself, and the only reason that my Anusi great-great-grandparents converted to it is because they lived in Lipsk nad Biebrzą and had more of an aversion to Russian Byzantine Catholicism. In fact, one Andrulewicz even became a Congregationalist in the generation born in America (He was an Andrulewicz-Yudicki cousin.).

Merged:

Poland calls for an EU where Christianity is not censored

Poland wants to be sure that Christian traditions are not subject to "ideological censorship" in the European Union.
Political Correctness is being used as a 'crutch' to censor and attack Christians values and beliefs
A good example is that the Bible states that homo sexuality is a sin. (even though I could list a dozen more examples)
Political Correctness labels that Hate Speech.

Does that mean in the future when a Christian Priest, Pastor or Reverend gives a sermon on what their ideology clearly states is wrong and a sin that they will be arrested and put in jail for hate speech ?

Political Correctness is just another covert attack on Christianity.
Wouldn't an ideology that says "kill all the infidels" be considered hate speech too ?

Oh my yes, how Jesus hated gay people:

i1.wp.com/madmikesamerica.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/jesushomo1.png?resize=509%2C478&ssl=1

me.me/i/call-to-love-thy-neighbor-as-thyself-and-what-if-fc09e9aa88cf40c5ae7cca7701f68de6

But Polish people really should listen to what their bishops say:

cruxnow.com/global-church/2018/03/23/polish-archbishop-condemns-government-stance-on-refugees/

"Is this our Christian humanitarianism, our sense of European unity, our respect for international accords?" Muszynski said.

Is this really how Christianity is being practiced in Poland? As a weapon to create hatred and ignored when it is inconvenient?

Political Correctness is an American invention that, unfortunately, European lefties have fully embraced.
As an American, Johnny, you should know more about it than us.

Can't see in all frankness what, pray, is "anti-Christian" about the EU. All right, Spain has allowed homosexuals to marry freely, and even the sitting Pope, Francis, has declared that gays too are allowed to take Holy Communion, what's wrong with that? Alternatives, gender benders etc. are also at liberty to worship.

While we're on the bigotry band wagon, why not second the claim of the late Rev. Pat Robertson, that G-d doesn't hear the prayer of a Jew?

Seems the Primate is acting in a rather simian fashion, doesn't it:-)

Can't see in all frankness what, pray, is "anti-Christian" about the EU.

The EU just does not care about "Christian Values", nothing to do with religeon.

G-d doesn't hear the prayer of a Jew?

He doesn't hear prayers from Christians, Muslims, Hindus or any other religion either.
Because he is like Santa Claus.....He doesn't exist....

Because he is like Santa Claus.....He doesn't exist....

If I remember right jon357 said those same EXACT words.
You must have had the same atheist teacher. lol
Milo you can't prove if God does or does not exist so to correct your ignorant statement it should correctly read, "In my opinion God does not exist".

Another truth is that more people on planet earth believe that there is a God then those who do not believe there is a God.

So to put it bluntly son, your opinion is with the minority.
Now before you continue with your silly argument just remember, your opinion is just that, your minority of an opinion.
I'm not here to change your mind or argue with you, just to make my point of how silly your statement was/is.
