Poland's anarchist scum are up in arms over the decision of a Białystok prosecutor who regards the swastika as a symbol of happiness and prosperity. After the matter was referred to Prosecutor General Seremet, the chief Białystok prosecutor has decided to pursue the case.

Quite a lot of people are 'up in arms' about it. The Swastika and the Hammer & Sickle are not symbols of 'happiness and prosperity'.

What about a swastika hanging from the gallows? Such grafitti is also seen. At least Poland bans the display of
both symbols unlike Russia where the criminal sickle and hammer, red star and mugshots of serial killers Lenin and Stalin are prominently on display.

But to give Lenin his due, like Hitler with his VW, at least Vladimir Ilyich has made a lasting contribution to world civilisation. To this day one can find Lenin cupboards in homes all round the globe!

That prosecutor was quite obviously a dipsh!t. I hope his license to practice law is revoked.

Let's hope so. People like that in public office are a disgrace.

You might notice a difference between the ancient symbol and the modern one. Not only does it point in a different direction, but it resonates anywhere in Europe as a symbol of evil deeds and man's inhumanity to man.

No it does not.

unlike Russia where the criminal sickle and hammer, red star and mugshots of serial killers Lenin and Stalin are prominently on display.

In Poland the hammer & sickle are on display in numerous locations, sometimes even accompanied by the socialist Polish eagle.

You might notice a difference between the ancient symbol and the modern one. Not only does it point in a different direction,

That's the key. Which way round did the one in Bialystok point?

Actually the Swastika is also a symbol of my ethnic group the Górals. As well as the being used as the symbol of the Finish airforce.

And various other groups too. The key to it all is how it's used and who by.

On monumetns or where?

Monuments and various pieces of art / decoration.

I believe the law bans the display of symbols promoting totalitarian Nazi or Communist regimes.

It doesn't, as has been discussed here repeatedly in the past.

Here is a story from 2010. It appears things are handled locally. Do you know the exact wording of any law on this subject?

Sadly it is a modern one here in Europe. And we live in a modern world.
