PolishForums Members List feature has been completed. Now you can search/browse all members by different criteria. The "Members" link is located in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Speaking of members. I find the Male/Female info of no use at all. It would make much more sense to know the posters nationality, and I don't mean which country they are posting from. Of course that would be volutary but it would at least tell you something about the poster.

What do you think, god?

Like if you're Polish that means 'you're stupid'? Or if you're from England you must have bad teeth?

Isn't that what the ''location'' thing is already? people can voluntarily let you know which country they are from.

What about if you're Irish? let me assist you, stylish, intelligent, witty, humble, good-looking...

It amazes me that with every tiny little change made on here, that it has to be discussed in detail, I suppose it is a discussion forum, that's just asking for it really... ;p

Your location does not corespond your nationality, right?

What about if you're Irish?

Then you must be asking too many questions :

Germans invaded Poland :. It was not related to logging in but to a small script problem now resolved.

MareGaea:

It's an optional field to fill..

I thought people just put where they're from rather than where they're at.
But yeah I suppose, does it make a difference, if so what?

You have a point. For people like me for example.

Or seriously confused Dutch people in Ireland on Polish Forum.

Well, working for nearly two decades in IT must leave its traces, eh?

But about the location:

Feb 6, 08, 05:56 MareGaea Male No, but I am trying to learn Netherlands/Ireland, Dublin

Like Admin says, it's an optional thing. By the way, I was only joking, Admin.

Let's not even start about Canadians whith Polish roots. Some of them are the worst.

There are a few old timers still posting and at least having an active account. Nice to see.

ps. - I was never gone. Only installing hardwood floors. I have a renewed appreciation for the trades people out there. Hard on the knees, back and shoulder.

True, to my amazement I am here already for over 2 years. Time flies when you're having fun, eh? :)

I was at one point also considering a hardwood floor, but kinda skipped the idea when I learned how expensive they are in NL. Bet they are a bit cheaper in Canada, eh?

What a lot of members;)

Half of Wroclaw appears to be on here. As I recall there were far better things to do there than post on here;)

He has some sausages ;) Have you tried kie³basy, BB? I tried German wurst 10 years ago as 10 Germans on my Masters made a special breakfast for non-Germans on the course. Tasty indeed but the Polish stuff is the real deal!

As for the PF members list, a super idea by Admin. It is a very helpful feature. Now I can find out who those dearly loved initial members were :)

Well, the Salmon has indeed gone - Bratwurst is more the type that eats always more than expected :) Red wine, yes, but no beer - doctor's orders and I have to look in the fridge if there is any ice cream left.

But indeed, now I have some time on my hands I get the chance to finally indulge myself in one of my passions: cooking. Tomorrow there will be marinated chicken strips with a creamy sauce of leek, mushrooms and Middle Eastern spices. I will cook sth extra as I am sure Bratwurst will be join me at the table :)

And Seanus, kielbasa is indeed great. I buy usually the smoked version (can't remember it's name, but I can pick it out blindly in any sklep) and I slice them up in to slices of about half a centimetre, cook them and serve those slices with usually a sweet sauce of ginger, thickened strawberry juice, red onions and just a hint of garlic. Sometimes with a pesto sauce as well, but the sweet sauce tastes best. If you're a good boy, I will forward you my recipies ;)

On topic: I think that member list is an asset for the forum as such.
