American pedophile caught in southern Poland

The Polish Border Guard announced the arrest, stating that the man was on the Interpol wanted list for pedophilia.

“He tried to pretend he was another US citizen, showing a Polish consultancy business card under a different name, as well as providing a bus ticket with the same surname,” Zaborski said.

John Edward H’s passport was found in his luggage, kept in the coach’s hold, and further checks showed he was a wanted criminal. According to Interpol’s website, the American is wanted for sexually abusing five boys between the ages of 10 and 16 in the state of Virginia, USA.

It is not legal in Poland. But most probably he will be sent/extradicted to be trialed in the US as that is where he was commiting his crimes, not Poland.
As far as penalty in Poland is concerned - he should stay here, as I am sure his inmates would be very willing to make real hell for him during his sentence. Such a tradition.

Apparently they recognized him by a pedo bear sticker on his rear bumper.

I've been warning about this for years: it is not a case of 'if there is a scandal involving a convicted foreign paedophile molesting children in Poland while teaching EFL', it is a 'when'. The alcoholic losers who end up discrediting the EFL profession are an annoyance but the psychopaths, the sociopaths and the paedophiles are a real danger.
