ABW follows orders in political cases.
Tusk gives political orders to ABW e.g. stop all cases involving criminal investigations into my friends (his first order on taking power).
ABW does a dawn raid of AntyKomor, a puerile, nasty dodgy little website that does what it says on the label.
Tusk calls the raid overzealous, "Nothing to do with me." "Me neither!" says Ból-Komorowski.

Platforma sympathisers scream, "It's OK for us to be heavy-handed against scoundrels attacking the President, but it was bad when you did it!"

PO and PiS are a bunch of hypocrites.

Donald Tusk aka "Mato³" just wants to be friendly. What's wrong with that?

Proof?

Ah, none. As usual.

Acutally, what you're seeing is Poland developing into a modern state - where the security forces act independently, rather than being manipulated by politicians.

Incidentally, insulting the head of state is a punishable offence in Poland. Under Polish law, they *must* do something - there is no provision for simply ignoring the law if it's not in the public interest.

So, instead of posting nonsense, perhaps you might want to educate yourself as to the law in this country?

As compared to that homeless guy who was arrested some years ago for telling the truth about the Duck?
or the duck threatening Monika Olejnik that he "would get her"?

Actually its far far worse since Tusk attacked the very internet itself.

But you see what I mean - Platforma types immediately rush to defend illiberal behaviour of the current govt.
As for Tusk calling the dogs off Krause et al, - this was widely reported in all newspapers at the time - go educate yourself by ... errm reading!

I'm very much a libertarian - this means getting criticised when being libertairian about Platforma's illiberalism. Meanwhile, it's Ok to be libertarian and criticise the stupidity of the previous govt.

There is a very strong pattern here - knee-jerk support for bad PO ideas; reasoned rejection of similar PiS ideas!

What part of "the law must be enforced in Poland, even if the prosecutor doesn't think that it's in the public interest" do you find so difficult to understand? The ABW's actions were independent of politicians - which is actually a damned good thing, as it shows that they're upholding the Polish State's interests regardless of political motivation.

You really do seem to have problems understanding Poland at times.
