Polish Finance Minister Jacek Rostowski's speech to the EP made to sound as if the collapse of the euro zone is a very real possibility. He warned the EU would not withstand such a shock and added that every coutnry that left or was dropped from the euro zone would face a drastic GDP decrease. Is this jsut scare-mongering or is there a real threat of collapse? Are euro woes the reason for the high exchange rate for the US dollar at present?

Greece should be booted out of the single currency.

If you are talking about PLN, most hard currencies are stronger.
