Dumbing-down in Polish schools and the Matura

in 2011, 343,000 students were taking the Matura exam... over 84,000 did not pass it... it's almost 1/4 of all students... 7% of the students cannot repeat the exam... that's really really bad.

In greek exams there is 75% failure.Exams in Europe are not standardized.

Polish tests are very difficult ( especially on extended level ; without tutoring it is impossible to get high scores ) and today is the day when the scores are revealed , finally .

All this big fight to get into uni and then dubious salaries. I'd dumb it down too to alleviate the burden.
