Few 'idealists' in Polish political class?

Would you agree that by and large the Polish political class lacks people of principle or 'ideowcy' as they're called in Polish? They are in it for the 3 PS -- power, prestige and perks. The issues they raise, address or pursue are simply means to that end.
The current PJN people jumping ship and heading for PO seem to indicate that they know what side their bread is buttered on. Ideals, values and assorted pious platitudes are merely clever slogans desgiend to dupe the voting masses.
The m³odzie¿ówki (youth wings) of the different parties are especially full of young careerists who regard politics as a convenient springboard to prosperity.

I think that's been the case since Universal suffrage began. Politics as we know it, seems to have failed. That's why the protests in Spain are calling for something new;
