Four people killed in train derailment

A passenger train has crashed in central Poland, killing four passengers and injuring at least 30, rescue officials say.

The inter-city train from Warsaw to Katowice was derailed at the town of Baby, near the city of Piotrkow Trybunalski, emergency services said.

The engine and three of the carriages went off the tracks. It was not clear what caused the derailment.

Sad news.

The whole Raiway system in Poland needs to be totally renovated . They should buy some TGV express trains and review all the rails, when you learn about accidents like that in Poland it sounds like we are in India China but not in Europe.

when you learn about accidents like that in Poland it sounds like we are in India China but not in Europe. what are u talking about. it's only the second one in two weeks. the other one seems to have gone unnoticed though. The whole Raiway system in Poland needs to be totally renovated . it is being renovated and renewed.

It does need upgrading though. I went from Warsaw to Lublin 1st class and it wasn't even equivalent to economy class in the UK. Also it wasn't cheap either I think I paid 100 złotych.
