Has there been an influx of Polish people into Germany?

I was wondering if Poles have starting moving to Germany since they lifted immigration restrictions this year? i doubt that many have gone since restrictions were lifted... because they were there beforehand.

i doubt that many have gone since restrictions were lifted... because they were there beforehand. yes - very true - my neighbour already works in Germany for two years now - the family stays here

it would be good if some Poles in the UK went to Deutschland. why do I see so many Middle aged and older Poles who just sit on the benches in the town centre in the middle of the day drinking vodka. it used to be just Young Poles in their early 20s who came to work here,but now they seem to have brought over their entire families

And so what? Are these older people bothering you? and if they live in the UK with their working Polish families it means that they also spend money in the UK in British supermarkets buying their wodka but also food etc.
Some old Poles are drinking wodka on British benches and some English young men are also just drinking wodka in Polish bars and pubs in Poland!

Not putting immigration quotas for Eastern Europe was one of the biggest mistakes any pot war British Government ha made. it has really f*cked over the British working classes. Working class Brits can not compete with a Pole who will do a job for half the price. they have stopped wages from rising as much as they would have over the last 7 years. It ha put an immense financial strain on working class Brits involved in manual labour industries such plumbing, bar work, mechanics, brick layers who roofers, allot of new jobs are taken by people registered are reserved for employment agencies based in Eastern Europe. The Poles now here do not integrate with wider British society, there are Police sign in Reading saying ' Please do not Drink' in Polish.

How would you feel if there was an influx of nearly 1 million low payed working class Brits to Poland within a space of 2 years?

while in Britain I heard stories about English trades people not caring to show up for appointed work, delaying the jobs on end, charging serious buck for jobs and in all that being able to spend half their time in England and half on Spanish vacations - I don't know how widespread such instances were but the arrival of Polish trades people was at least at first welcome by the populace - I think the English trades people were probably a bit spoilt by the general affluance

I have no great affinity with the Germans, but I do with the Irish, Scandinavians, Dutch, Aussies and kiwis who I find to be culturally closest to Britain.

why not? its a big country, everything in order and possible. wealthy also and safe. ok, the humans aspect not so much, but that can be compensated. ;)

i think the transition of polish people who wanted to go to germany much earlier started than just to wait for some official green light.

How would you feel if there was an influx of nearly 1 million low payed working class Brits to Poland within a space of 2 years? There wouldn't, because they would be to lazy too learn the language.

I am not as wealthy as a German but I feel wealthy enough here. I have a big car, a big apartment (even two), gas, electricity, central heating, flushed toilet, fridge and cooker, two computers, two cats, a snake, 20 mice, a wife, 3 kids, rewarding job, etc etc etc.

I feel perfectly safe too. The last time I had my car broken into was in 1998. The last time I had to fight in the street was in 1997. The last time I was pickpocketed was in the USA in 1991.

And don't forget the rampant tax dodging, too.

Generally speaking, those with money to spend on plumbers and suchlike are very happy with the Poles - because they cut the costs and got the jobs done quickly.

Wroclaw because of the above i imagine the figure for mice is lowered every couple of weeks. you propably haven't taken into account that a population of mice can quadruple in a matter of a month or so :P
