what's so funny about it? Poland was practically occupied by the Soviets for over 40 years

I am not saying it was funny. In fact it was terrible, but why the 'west', didn't do anything? The SU not only occupied Poland but half of europe and a huge part of Asia. Why did the west allied with the SU (if they were allegely enemies) against Germany? . Then I heard, ''Germany invaded Poland'' , Yes, truth, but the SU invaded poland even before (1920) and half of Europe, why the west didn't do nothing?, then once again the SU ocupies half of europe after WWII , killing in every country 10% of its population and nobody did anythig!!

So many questions to answer

changing the topic, I know what Poland has been through, but that makes no difference of what I feel to want to beat those b*stards who damaged my car. Idiots, instead of having a fully positive image of poles, I disrespect those frustrated kurwa boys product of the post-communism

lol, A little teaching in terminology, Latinos or Latins are the descendents of the Romans. This includes spaniards, italians, french, romanians, portugueses, and their descendents in latin america who still speak a language which comes from latin, the language of the romans. The word latin/latino has been badly used through the last decades and denotes very often other people who are not real latins. This is however a missuse. When you say that Latinos don't know nothing about europe, then I can only tell you that the latinos are europeans.

It is funny to see anyway, how you generalize... you are the one who shows that has no idea about europe eventhough you are an ''european''

Besides, everyone was tired of fighting and was happy that the war was finally over. Not to mention that most likely no one could afford to run another war. Everyone was broke.

The communist mentality of hierarchy is still present among many poles with some ''audtority''. Anyway I am not trying to teach you anything, I just don't understand why nobody gave a sh*t when the SU started to attack half of europe BEFORE WWII and committing genocide in the occupied countries. It is a fact that the communist killed 10% of the population in every occupied country (the best engineers, doctors, lawyers, etc... ) in order to de-construct the society and adapt it to communism, and France and England just crossed their hands while people were being murdered by the soviet union.

Hi, Polish jokes started with the germans. It followed the polish to america. Polish is slavic. Slavic is a european group.

The guy lives in Krakow and has access to pretty well anyone he likes in PL, including all major universities, organs of state and leaders of all three or four main political parties. I would imagine that even the president would return his calls. Why would he need to get involved with informal groups abroad?

There's as many Irish jokes as Polish jokes to be honest. Dumb Paddy Irishman etc. Largely they are laughed off these days, he'll even Irish people tell them....reclaiming them as it were. Of course depends on context and tone when they are told but nothing usually worth getting worked up over. Most countries have jokes about their neighbours etc

Yea ,, even as a kid in the 80's I remember jokes were Paddy was the idiot and even back then the jokes were told by the Irish as well. Not really milky. They were reclaimed to a certain extent, the jokes twisted so that the Irishman 'won' The ability to laugh at yourself is something to be admired, more so than someone who gets offended still everything. That said it depends on tone and context of the joke.
