Crow, this is part of a bigger plan and general ideology. Read the book 'The Doctrine of Shock' by Naomi Klein and you'll see what I mean. The NATO bombing of 1999 was an extension and exemplification of that notion. The book looks at the 'Chicago-style' economic way of thinking as championed by Milton Friedman. Geopolitics and macroeconomics played their respective roles.

The Serbs were perceived as awkward for some of the globalist hawks. Milosevic was not the demonic tyrant he was painted as. He was used as a tool for evil Neocons like Soros and Albright to do their worst.

Albright proud of Kosovo ethnic cleansing

Friday, 12 February 2010
http://macedoniaonline.eu/content/view/12420/46/

In the spring of 1999, NATO conducted attacks against Serbia for 78 days over the conflict in Kosovo.

Former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright thinks that her greatest achievement in her term was “conducting the ethnic cleansing in Kosovo.”

“If you wish to know what I think is the most important thing I accomplished as U.S. secretary of state, I think it is conducting of the ethnic cleansing in Kosovo,” Albright said, answering to a student’s question at the Russian State Institute for Foreign Relations.

Ooops! After couple of reactions from the audience, Albright quickly corrected her statement stating her achievement was 'stopping' the ethnic cleansing in Kosovo.

“We wanted to solve the situation by diplomatic means and under UN patronage, we reviewed the issue with the Russian colleagues. Eventually, we turned to NATO, carried out a successful operation and the people in Kosovo are living freely now,” Albright was quoted as saying.

listen this now...

You heard about that French foreign minister Bernard Koushner and about his involvement in organ extraction from Serbian civilians, who first was accused from Karla Del Ponde and later investigation (international and Serbian sources) proved his involvement

Man visited Serbia yesterday and you know what he said when journalists asked him in case with organ extraction.... Koushner- French foreign minister said that `asking him about something like that is scandalous and that one who says that he is involved is killer himself`. So much about great French culture. These days you can expect YOUTUBE clip in case with this

Kouchner painted himself as a good man with his involvement in 'medecin sans frontieres' but he blew it all when allying himself with Albanian terrorists. Wasn't he seen with Ceku once? He supported Ibrahim Rugova I think.

There was certainly sth odd about it. NATO really stuffed up in siding with terrorists and creating a criminal state which formerly belonged (and should still belong) to Serbia. There is just way too much falsification. They claimed to be taking weapons away from the UCK but they didn't destroy them as the video showed.

Would you say that Ireland

Britain?

Or that Poland
formerly belonged (and should still belong) to

Russia, Prussia and Austria.

Or Ukraine to... (and the list goes on).

On merit, I'm not fully sure of the legal position of Serbia. I read a convincing account which cast doubt into its being part of Serbia. I meant that Israel has been allowed to hold onto territories (occupied) but Serbia lost its own heartland.

No, Ireland is Ireland and I really wouldn't mind if NI formally annexed itself with its southern neighbour. I'm not a Unionist.

Gentlemen-

I have not read much into the thread but just seeing the title inspired me to write. The world is in a SINCERELY F***** UP STATE!!! I apologize for my vulgar outburst but I feel that vulgarity is often the tool that get's the point across. Nuclear war is indeed the end of the world!!! Do you honestly think that that the people with the money and power give a flying pile of pony loaf if we live or die?????

Me neither, the independence (or not) of either northern or southern Ireland doesn't interest me. But if Kosovo wants independence, and a clear support it, surely they should be able to choose that.

because you are not aware of NI issues you do not give a flying fcuk about them but for some strange reason ( probably Gazeta Wyborcza reader ) you support Serbian partition.

Well, I'll need Crow's input on this but I watched a documentary where Serbs, a long time ago, invited Albanians in but they abused their privelege and flocked in in their droves. They began to swamp the major cities of Kosovo and the Serbs were reduced to 10%. That was a mistake, making Albanians feel welcome as they are quite wild as people (I was lucky to meet some really nice ones, though). What they did to Serb churches there was unforgivable and NATO should have known much better than to intervene on their behalf.

Weren't you in NI, TIT? I'm sure you're gonna tell us all about it.

The last job TIT was involved in was a blowjob ;) ;)

Let's get back to the thread. Obama just today unveiled his newest scheme for nuclear deproliferation. Talk is cheap and Russia will likely not follow suit as they want to play games on this one. Bush made a comment on this years ago and the position has changed little. I can imagine Obama waking up and thinking, 'sheesh, not this friggin speech again' ;)

Yes.

Between NATO and Russia, the Balkans are at best a distraction. Russia engages in sabre-rattling fro time to time, but has forgotten any ambitions (other than financial) in Europe. Their trump card is mineral wealth and energy; how they can best extract it; who they can most profitably sell it to. NATO are preoccupied with matters outside Europe.

The infighting in the Balkans is not an issue for either party, except when atrocities occur.

It's certainly not a breeding ground for nukes. There is the potential for further flare-ups there, though. Ahmedinejad did an interview with a Danish interviewer, spelling out exactly why nukes are wrong. Not that we didn't know anyway :)
