A Jewish cemetery in eastern Poland has been vandalised just weeks after survivors groups urged the Polish authorities to take action against the rising tide of anti-Jewish sentiment.

Wouldn't it be easier to move all Jewish cemeteries from Poland to Israel? Just what Yad Vashem did with the walls with Bruno Schultz drawings on them. Only this time we wouldn't object.
I seriously don't see a point of having Jewish cemeteries in city centers, other than allowing David Miliband to look up his ancestors. Catholic graves are liquidated when no one takes care of them. Why should Polish taxpayers pay for the maintainance of Jewish cementaries, when there are clearly no Jews to look after them?

If they do pay, the money is clearly being stolen by the people who are paid to do the work. I've got numerous photos of Jewish cemeteries which are very clearly not maintained in any way, shape or form. The only ones I've seen which are maintained are done so either at private expense or as voluntary projects by local groups (e.g. the high school at Izbica takes some care of the Jewish cemetery there).

But why let truth get in the way of an opportunity to post yet more of your anti-semitic bile?

Yes thanks, I do do volunteer work for both the Auschwitz foundation and the museum of the history of Polish Jews (although not as much as I would like to do).

Some perverse Jews actually see this trolling by PWEI as useful, because by claiming that Poland, the former home of the majority of world Jewery, is anti-Semitic they thereby feel they have justified their usurpation of Palestine and their brutal treatment of the Palestinians by making it the Poles fault.

Of course you are free to do that. But given that you can't link to even a single statement of mine which says that Poles orchestrated the Holocaust, it would be rather unwise for you to do it. It would be about as unwise as desecrating Jewish graves. In fact it would be even more unwise, given that you would be a lot easier to catch: it would not be easy for you to hide.

The title may well be about "graves", but the subtext is clearly "Let's start another trolling thread which is likely to antagonise Poles and those interested in Polish culture".

Every thread he's started seems to rapidly fill-up with lies about Poland and Poles, Jewish or otherwise. It's simply "Pole-baiting", make no mistake. Never mind Białystok, he's behaving like he originates from that world-renowned centre of genetic variety, Bridgwater :)

Best thing we can do is put him on "Ignore"; well, that's what I'm going to do anyway lol ;)

I'm almost certain there's no public money going to maintain them - I've never seen one that looked like any sort of public cash was being spent on them. They're like the Red Army graveyards, just being left to rot.

Most of the times your posts are well balanced but you sometimes surprise me Delph. What you just said is an outright lie. Why did you say that? There are many Red Army cemeteries in Poland, taken good care of.

There is even one in the city of Poznań, where you claim to have lived for years. Yes, it is not in the greatest shape, but far from being in a rotten state. And I have seen pictures of fresh flowers on many of the Russian graves in Poznan Citadel.

Russians want to finance the renovation of sepulchral stele, the stairs leading to the Citadel and the monument overlooking the Citadel. Wielkopolska Voivod is favorable to this initiative. Renovation work should begin later this year.
