Richard Pipes on Russo-Polish relationship (Polish only):
http://www.rmf24.pl/fakty/swiat/news-pipes-polska-zdradzila-rosje,nId, 297695

For me Pipes makes a model of an ignorant self made "expert" which is never losing confidence in his qualifications.
I remember his nonsensical agenda of the 90-ties - don't put Russia under too much presure !
And it was the very best moment to do it !
Then, radical change to quite anti-Kremlin rethoric during the early Putin's reign .

Perhaps because of his East-European roots Pipes loves to lecture Poles and the rest of the post-commie trash in the region.

His newest message for us goes like that:
The US administration has sold out Ukraine to Russia and there is no need (and it makes no sense) to contest the decision made by the big boys.
It's pointless for small countries like Poland.
Rome has spoken; the case is closed LOL.

First, it's not a Polish issue, rather the Ukrainian one but still very important for us too.
Then ... Yalta is a fashionable resort for Ukrainian mobsters and Donetsk clan today so deals like AD 1943 are hardly possible.
I'm pretty sure Russia is not able to control "Malorossija" and has to take a low profile in terms of politics.

So what should be the Polish position on this "closed" case ?
Just some points (on the contrary to what arrogant "expert" Pipes says):
Non stop promotion of Ukrainian NATO and EU access or at least close alliance.
The West has to get used to that.
Visa free traffic.
Best possible cross border cooperation at the regional level .

Pipes Zhidski first, second, third, and so on...He don't like Putin because he think Zhidski lose money, power...Actually, Putin quite friendly to Zhidski, only he want Zhidski money kept in Russia...As far as his advice to Poland, ignore such people.

It's a phobia. Some people hate the sight of vermin.
