ou might but it wouldn't make any sense, kinda like your last post when you completely contradicted yourself by agreeing with me and then trying to argue against your own point.

You really ought to chill out and have a civilised discussion.

But in general this has got me thinking about the things about Poland (past and present) that can be exported in an appealing way,

Part of being Polish in America is a nostalgia for the old land. The rich, dark dirt holds centuries of farming and fighting. For millions of immigrants and generations of descendants, it is the essence of their heritage: the subject of great poets. Many immigrant Poles over the years would take a bag soil with them to mix with the local soil. So why not sell certified bags of Polish soil and a few Polish seeds thrown in. The mark up would be massive.

Why do you have a bag of sand from Dubai?

Yes, OP. sell dirt.

People sell dirt from the Holy Land, and I wouldn't be surprised if some undertakers would be interested in offering (for a hefty fee) dainty handfuls of Polish soil for PolAms to scatter on bushia's coffin...

Oh, I used to have sand from sahara. My childhood friend send me.
However I'm not sure if someone would like to buy it, it's more about bringing it with yourself as a keepsake.

Funeral Directors catering to PolAms?? Could be a good business. They could have the soil blessed by O. Rydzyk. Even better if it was dug up from Kaczynski or Ziobro's garden.

'snake oil salesman' is an expression for someone who is selling lies, say, a patent cure for all ills, which is really sunflower oil/water.

Someone smart enough to sell tiny amounts of sand or earth, perhaps in a cute little bag, isn't lying or fooling anyone at all.
It's a fantastic idea.

Thanks Captain, but I'm savvy.

The majority of people that sell dirt from somewhere are selling you something they dug up from their backyard.

Likewise, you may think you're buying sand from the holy land when instead, you're buying sand from the Jersey shore.

And as we would say around these parts that anybody buying it would have more money than sense.

Exotic though the Jersey shore may be in Europe, I did know an old lady that used to knock the soil from Israeli celery and sell it in sew it into little bags for the church bring and buy sale an earth from The Holy Land.

Not in the USA anymore.

For the septics it would be worthwhile getting it USDA approved.
