Poland and the Jews

Sir, The Polish Ambassador (letter, July 31) claims that Polish political leaders have apologised to the Jewish community. Apologies do not ring true, however, while debts remain unpaid.

Alone among the countries of the EU, Poland has made no compensation arrangements for Jewish and non-Jewish owners of property seized from them during and after the Second World War. It is likely to be in breach of the European Convention on Human Rights, and hundreds of cases are awaiting judgment in Strasbourg.

Compensation? Polish compensation for jews? Ha-ha... No guys, this is one of the few really good ideas that I have ever heard! Oh boy, what a magnificent intention, how it is jewishly! There is only one thing to be solved, the form of compensations. I suggest it should be paid by gold tooth crowns.

Ah, the discussion is Poland & the Jews again!...Why, I think a high commission of rabbis should be appointed by the EU to investigate and judge the criminal actions of the Polish nation in regard to not giving Jews whatever money they want!...What barbarians these Poles are!...I am expecting a pogrom in the near future!...We must, as Poles or Americans of Polish descent, make every attempt to give as much money as possible to the Jews, who suffered such unimaginable hardship!...another possible solution or 'reparation' would be to give permanent title to Aushwitz to the Jewish-owned Disney Corporation: they could build a theme park in co-operation with Steven Speilberg, and use the profits to benefit 'holocaust survivors'.

But seriously - they made It clear few years ago that they want $60 billion (now probably ~100 as the USD is much weaker) or else Poland is going to be "humiliated".

But, it is Actually the attitude of many Jews, some truly feel that way, and would tell you just like that. Jews in Europe seem like Africans in America, always wanting something for Nothing, and claiming they have something on you, for your "evils" in the past....To that I say EAT S**T. White americans and Poles of Poland work too hard to put up with this crap...

Sasha: do you second his point of view? Yes I feel he is fair and reminds us we are all human. His first part brings up Russia dealing with the crimes under Soviets and IMO you will like the manner he feels Russian's should come to terms with this.
