The Jewish termins we've borrowed are all about criminal slang. That's aforesaid "shiksa" which we put as "chiksa" for sluts, "fraer" for "goy male", "pacan" (for boy... "potz" means "dick") etc. When I read the dictionary of "Russian" criminal jargon I understand almost nothing.

It's said that jewish criminal elements (bolsheviks, thieves in law etc.) got to Russia through Poland in the beginning of the last century. I don't know if this true but it could explain an especial similarity of these adopted words in Polish and in Russian.

I dont feel the need to google "shegetz". But its a word they use to refer to non jews (AS SLAVES), (LESSER THEN). And too be treated as such. Look into the Talmud.

Don't put too much historical meaning into the word "Sheigetz". It's just a derogatory word for Goy. The word "Goy" is not derogatory. Take it from me.
And what's so bad or surprising that we have a derogatory word for non-Jews? Every minority group has slang names for the majority group. You don't have to worry that we'll come riding through your town burning your churches down screaming "kill the shgutzim!". (That's plural for Sheigetz.)
Shiksa, on the other hand, although it's the feminine form of sheigetz, is not considered derogatory at all. It's usually used for a pretty Christian girl. A fat old Polish woman would not be called a "shiksa" but would just be called a fat old Polish woman. A pretty young Polish woman would be a shiksa, as in "Did you see that shiksa he's going out with? I wonder how he did that. His parents must be plotzing!"

Non-Jews of non-white ethnic groups are noy usually called goyim or shgutzim. They would normally be referred to by the specific ethnic name.

IINM the word is very frequent in Israeli Hebrew.

I've also been told that siksa (si - shee) in modern Polish means a young woman who's not very smart and who is ivery irritating*. most Polish people have no idea of it being related to a yiddish word for a non-Jewish woman (which would be gojka in modern Polish).

*There's a similarity between this word and siku, an informal word for urine (pee). I think some people associate the two but I have no idea if they can be related etymologically.

That's exactly what it means in Hebrew slang.

I never heard the word "siku" and i don't think it has any relation.

what about the word 'mosiek'? I know this is Jewish male name Moshe but in polish slang often mean sb who is less clever, donkey :) or ugly looking

Yehudi, I do know **** from shinola...I know that **** is all around us, but shinola is not so common anymore as everyone wears sneakers...And, yes, rabbis don't bother teaching the meaning of 'goy' anymore as they are now into more profitable endeavors such as the diamond trade, the 'meat' business, real estate development, 'security' businesses etc...also, they have their hands full with the accounting related to the 'kosher' or 'parve' tax imposed on almost all products sold in US supermarkets.

This is a bit off topic but it still applies to the general topic of this discussion. If anyone could help I would be extremely grateful.

I'm an american polish female (first generation) who is also a bit russian (paternal great grandmother), german (maternal grandfather), & has some sort of celtic background (scottish maybe; have celtic features). As far as I can tell my family surname (Napiorkowska) has always been of the Roman Catholic faith. I'm in love with a man who has the EXACT same ethnic background but is of the Jewish faith. I feel like an outsider to his family even though they don't intentionally treat me like one (and vice versa). It's very fustrating to us because we feel that we have so much in common but yet the origin of faith separates us. I'm also mystified by how our religions define us because otherwise we share the same homeland (both our families moved around over centuries solely because of the chaos & then immigrated here). I know my catholic side fought on behalf of the jewish people in the era of Hitler & Stalin. I researched if my family changed their faith out of fear but have not found ANY evidence to support this.

Anyways, if anyone can give me some advice on how we can both overcome this "barrier" forced upon us. I feel that the roman catholic & the jewish faith have a lot in common despite times like the crusade (i.e. as compared to protestant faiths). To us it all comes down to whether we believe in Jesus as the savior or not - plain in simple. It's like our families were just standing in two separate lines at the time when asked the question. In any event, we try not to dwell on it but where we live it's still very much a stigma. Please do not ask where that is...let's just say the KKK are still alive & well, & nearby in our case.

Listen, I have felt like an outsider in my OWN family many, many times...Families are just like that...stress and strife, for no logical reason...but remember, Jesus said: 'Who is my mother & brother?...The one who believes in God is my mother & brother'...Jesus had family stress at times, also, in His life here...If you two love each other, then be together and go with God...the family problems will most likely get better with time.

As far as I know, the Danish, Dutch, and Austrians are all basicaly German, just evolved by area. BB would prolly know better then me but it should work like this. The danish were part viking part german-germanic vikings. The dutch are like english/germans. And the Aust's are just very far south.

Im all of the above plus polish :) and still proud. But even my polish family may actually be of german, because blond hair and blue eyes was common...

Now Belgians, I think is a german/french mix, but speak more of a french language?

Maybe you should read up on your history. What is Isreal? Or as Hitler said "isent'real". What is the make up of jews? Mainly Arab, cousins of. And partial egyption and 1 other thing. They are an ancient Mixed race. Enough said right there. And a religion aswell.
