How about the two-faced Jews in WWII? Szpilman, himself a Jew, alluded to this in his book 'The Pianist'. He was disappointed to see his former 'friends' join the Jewish police and victimise Jews. And to think that fingers are pointed at Poles for not helping the Jews out enough. He himself said that Poles had very few opportunities to help the Jews from their tragic fate.

Usually the walls around the ghettos were built by Jews and almost always were guarded by Jews and their "councils" used to choose people, who were sent to the camps. Gerries hardly entered the ghettos but what the hell... all most of people may hear about these things is about a few dozens of kids in Warsaw ghetto, who decided to die with honor... the rest are "anti-semitic lies"... Not to mention what most of Jews did when the 2nd Polish Corps was in Palestain during WW2...

It seems to me that I saw somewhere, the same things happen to Poles from other poles. There were Polish overseers
in labor camps abusing fellow Poles. Anything to save their own skin.

Here we go with the IQ league again. First of all, IQ tests are not a perfect measure of intelligence, secondly national data is going to vary across comparisons because not all have the same data parameters and sample size, etc, and thirdly Asian countries rule the IQ score heap, so what is that proving anyway? No slight intended to the Chinese nation, but if they are at the top of the IQ test heap, then I definitely trust that there are alternative intelligence that is even more valuable than the measure of standard IQ tests.

These are the same Vikings who captured people as slaves (including Slavs, this is possibly the origin of the word "slave") and sold them, even to Arabs?
To indulge in white pride, one has to be aware of people who are not white. Did very many northern Europeans know of such dark-skinned folk in the so-called Viking age?

Just substitute "Black" with "White" in the above picture and you would get called a "dirty racist" from everybody and their mother...

Blacks are not only allowed to be proud of their heritage and their color it's actually supported!
The US even have a "black history month" in the schools...

When Whites openly express that they are proud of their heritage and their color and the achievements of their race it's racism??? Okay...I can live with that!

I disagree!

To be proud of ones own race should be a natural given, the same way as Poles are proud of Poland etc., nothing to "indulge" in.

No this relates to something else he posted and that I replied to but that thread was closed, so you've jumped to the wrong conclusion mate. But his whole tapestry of ideas, when put together are impossibly dumb and immoral.

And so you know I'm against black pride as well, it's outlived its usefulness and now it's often just used by American blacks to talk ****. I just think that most problems aren't about race but about money and class. Why are neo-nazis killing dark skinned people in Russia when it is their fellow white russians, the group of multi-billionaires, who are hogging all the resources, with no care for their fellow men.

I guess you haven't read about the history of race relations in the US. This song was written in the 60's, when blacks were still fighting the civil rights struggle, and when the psychological effects of segregation had proved, especially in the supreme court case of Brown v. Board of Education that young black children were made to feel inferior by the entire system of segregation. The black power movement was born in this context, I personally preferred Martin Luther King's approach, but I recognise the utility of the black pride movement during the civil rights era. So should everyone

Like I said before, the whole black pride movement is outdated and in fact, harmful to blacks. In today's context, black pride is often just racist. As an American it's painful for me to see guys like Al Sharpton, Our Farrakhan get attention from the media as if they were saying anything positive. Or take Charles Barron, a prominent city councilman who declared that sometimes he just wants to smack white people, "for my mental health." This obviously departs from the rational norm, which is to simply treat your fellow human with a certain level of decency. After survival, Morality is the most important obligation of man.

In this context White pride is just as stupid as black pride, especially since there's no need for such movement in most of the western world. Whites are privileged in the US and in Western Europe.
