Wow!
*borrows a fat red marker from BB and marks this date in his calendar* :)

I just say some stuff to p*ss you off pal.

Thats to say Ukraine was a depopulated wasteland, courtesy of the Mongols, Tartars and your own warring Ruthenian nobility, you had exactly one major city - Kiev.

By that time Poland had Poznań, Kraków, Gniezno... all in all Poland had 32 major cities, six of which were the size of Kiev.

Thats not counting smaller cities and towns, you guys were two barns and a cow.

Which ones? Except Lomza, there wasn`t any highly developed settlements ;)

you guys were two barns and a cow.

At least cow spared. The history would be quite different if you attacked tanks while riding cows. You might have won at least and the victory would have been celebrated in Poland as ``Mad cow offensive``.

Polish Revolution

Hello fellow Poles

I would like to discuss the topic of a Polish Revolution. Poland needs a revolution to break free from the hold that the UN has on in it.For too long Poland has it voice silenced by outsiders.I believe it is time that we Poles stood up for ourselves and reclaim Poland and Kresy from the traitors who claim to have Poland Best at Interest but are only interested in in slaving Poland and holding it back.

Jozef

i'm sure that u won't mind being merged to a Czarnkow1940 thread. he has the same interests and ip as u

Also Stalin did not promise Poland neither Lwów nor East Prussia.

Stalin originally did offer the whole east prussia to Poland but later changed his mind and gave Poland szczecin and the south part of east prussia to Poland instead.

Wasn't it originally Churchill that proposed giving Poland several German lands? (As he thought Poland would lose her "Kresy" anyway)

BB if you gotta complain to anyone it's Churchill ;) (That damn bugger)

Yes but he died in 1925 .I think you misunderstood I was saying whos idea was it for the Curzon line B which included Lwow as Part of Poland

I dont know where you heard that quote from wikipedia:

Winston Churchill was not present at the end of the Yalta Conference as the results of the British election had made it clear he had been defeated. Churchill later claimed that he would never have agreed to the Oder-Western Neisse line, and in his famous Iron Curtain speech declared that:

The Russian-dominated Polish Government has been encouraged to make enormous and wrongful inroads upon Germany, and mass expulsions of millions of Germans on a scale grievous and undreamed-of are now taking place.

B was the original line actually.. and it was the approximation of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact border..

Well it is well known fact that Stalin promised Poland that it would get Lwow

It seems that Roosevelt (and Churchill) very delicately 'suggested' that Lwów could be returned to Poland. Stalin was against it.

Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin in Yalta, 6 February 1945:

Stalin: I refer now to our allies' appeal with regard to the Curzon line. The President has suggested modification giving Poland Lvov and Lvov Province...

Roosevelt:This is my only suggestion. If we can work out some solution of this problem it will make peace much easier.

Churchill:I have made repeated declarations in Parliament in support of the Soviet claims to the Curzon line, that is to say, leaving Lvov with Soviet Russia. I have been much criticised and so was Mr Eden especially by the party which I represent. But I have always considered that after all Russia has suffered in fighting Germany and after all her efforts liberating Poland her claims is one founded not on force but on right. I that position I abide. But of course if the mighty power, the Soviet Union, made a gesture of magnanimity to a much weaker power and made the gesture suggested by the President we would heartily acclaim such action.

Then get out there and do some revolting.

He had alot of nothing to say.
We'll miss him.

The UN? It is NATO that dragged you into Iraq and Afghanistan where your casualty rate is relatively high. The UN is an inept and toothless organisation that has a limited impact on life here.

Kresy???

Oh, he's revolting alright ;)

yup, dragged in kicking and screaming. making them stay too.

WRONG

Poland wanted to play in the desert with the big boys, they can go home anytime.

What is the Polish voice, Jozef? What do you hope to achieve? What, having Jerzy Buzek in such a high position isn't voice enough?

No, NATO dragged them into it and they just decided to stay. They can leave at any time.

Aha, the EU. Sorry, but Poland has gained in so many ways from the EU and it has a reasonable voice. What more could be done?
