I think there are some definite misses with the marketing of these protests. Over here, the 99%ters are protesting for better distribution of wealth. They use terms like "cowtowing to the wealthy". Imagine that. I don't think they even know they're talking about Revolution! Me, I don't like to be grouped with any 99%. Not at all. ;)

Indeed, the tide is turning in Poland too.

But still, if Des had actually ever visited Poland, he'd know that there's a great emphasis on "what do you have papers to do?". A history degree is just a route to unemployment, due to the attitude that it "doesn't give you anything" afterwards. Can't expect him to understand that though, as fools haven't visited.
