I didn't say it wasn't aid on the boats, but they should have went through proper check points as they were invited to do so in Egypt and Israel.

What do you think will happen if same thing happened to Israeli's by Turks ?

Be sure all world will turn against Turkey.

Even in this event some media is shameless to show Turks guilty.

There is nothing to do other than an ironical laugh :(

Oh, suddenly the security aspect is less exigent and pressing? Don't make me laugh! Even Israelite Tony Blair pushed for that and it's hardly a concession. Sneaky? It's almost impossible to sneak in under the Israeli radars.

Sneaky as in the boats should have just gone to the check point, not try to push on. That looks suspicious.

What, like the Israelis respected international law as well? They were in international waters and not free to take such action there. They have breached UN Resolutions almost as much as every other nation combined. So, when they start playing ball then so can others.

The rule works,

if you are strong you are right.

But is Israel stronger than Turkey ?

We will see.

So all rules are out the window now? ;)

I never said Israel was perfect or in the right most of the time, but I can see many other countries doing the same thing in Israel's situation.

Israel is stronger than Turkey, yes, but throw in Lebanon, Syria and Iran and they are horribly outgunned. What's the sentiment in Turkey now, Rock? I saw the immediate aftermath in Istanbul and they were ANGRY. Israel didn't apologise in the recent meeting and, IMHO, a NATO power was attacked. Israel has to be brought to heel but Obama is a prick that talks of unbreakable bonds. So Israel has a free reign :(

If world does nothing about this issue, it seems so.

Israel wanted to make a power show against Turkey.

There will be a revenge for sure.

Turkish nation did not satisfied with the result of attempts of the government.

If a prime minister just talks and does nothing in a situation like this he can not win the next election.

I bet the Turkish nation were not satisfied, rock. Killing 9 individuals when it was avoidable is a cardinal blunder. They had no right to board at all. Their paranoia took over but killing in such a fashion is inexcusable. In Scotland, the Israeli case would be thrown out as they created that situation. Scottish Law, unlike its English counterpart, requires you to move away from danger so as to avert a disaster. If you have the escape option, you must use it. Israelis dove headlong into it so they have to accept the consequences. This is only Scottish court logic but I support it and not because I am Scottish.

Obama is in a difficult situation, Israel is one of our closest allies, and Turkey is a NATO ally.

And Rock, the revenge you keep talking about, a threat and military action? I hope not.

The US has no military alliance with Israel. There is however a military alliance in place with Turkey...

First of all, I want to say that I don't like any radicals from any religion.

Some of the people in these boats maybe radical muslims ( they were not armed) but there were also humanists, journalists, socialists from Turkey and other nations.

Israel wanted to show that they killed muslim terorists in the ship. This is not true.

There is not any evidence that these people killed other people before.

I did not want this ships go Gaza. Because I do not believe that Turks have be much more supportive to Palestines than Arabic countries or other nations.

But if Israel dares to kill Turks, everything changes. This is more than a religion issue now.
All Turks including radical muslims, normal muslims, ateists, liberals, communists, nationalists, social democrats etc etc are very angry.

We Turks were friends of Jewish people unlike the christains during history. We helped them a lot.

Now, look what they did.

USA still tries to support Israel in that event which is very wrong.

This is not the first fault of USA to us.

We Turks do not trust EU anymore.

Turkey's foreign policy is changing rapidly. But it is not because of religion.

Because of behaviours of our so-called allies.

I think the stakes are too high, rock. Erdogan would risk the lives of others to prove what? When a couple fight, do they try and repair it? Usually yes. What is my advice? Cut off their water supply until they apologise. I'm sure you aware just how much water Turkey gives to Israel. Travel elsewhere and take their tourism industry down a peg or two.

Turkish Energy and Natural Sources minister has already announced that Turkey stopped water and gas projects with Israel. This is only one sanction.

Israel military airplanes are banned to use Turkish air space too.

These are not enough.

We will stop all our relations one by one.

Israel had the cheek to say they would investigate the matter themselves. Time to shoot those men in suits and start taking serious action. All they do is have fine dinners and fatten their already fat bellies discussing issues they do little about. Time to up the stakes by sending a joint Turkish-Iranian ship in. Hezbollah have also had enough and will likely be opening an offensive somewhere soon. Israel has brought all this on itself.

Turkish-Iranian ship is out of question.

Turkish people will not approve a close alliance with Iran.

Of course they will, rock. Uranium is being sent to Turkey from Iran and my guess is that you guys enrich it far beyond what the international community says it should be. That would be a very nasty way of getting back at Israel. What's wrong with Iran, rock?
