Poles bored with Ukrainian issues ?

Please don't get me wrong.
It's not me becoming bored - it's just my impression that our average Jan Kowalski is already fed up with this never ending political and economic turmoil in Ukraine he does not understand anymore.
The orange euphoria is gone, Ukrainian NATO and EU perspectives had faded over the last years, both political poles: pro-Russian and nationalistic are hardly in line with Polish expectations .

I know it's a wet dream of every KGB man - Europeans and Poles among them forgetting Kiev but hell ... what can we do about that ?
Are we in position to help ?
I'm just reading an excellent biography of Bohdan Khmelnytsky and have to ask that question:
Are they back in Pereyeslav (Russo-Ukrainian union 1654) ready to sell independent Ukraine for some gas and oil ?

I, for one, would appreciate more Ukrainian news and discussion.

I currently have a very good Ukrainian guitar student...He played cello in school, but wished to learn guitar...His dad works for the Sheriff's department in my city.

The young man is going to the Ukraine for the summer...He will be staying in Lvov, which I guess is now called Lviv.

average John is not interested in politics and as Poland have not policy of its own so this thread is pointless. All we can hope to get is our land back before Russia will once again swallow Ukraine in this form or the other!

Well, we have a lot of our problems now... plane crash, flooding, elections, volcanic ash, EU is shaking because of PIIGS, second leg of crisis possible...
So, maybe not bored, but occupied... Besides, those who were supported by Poland failed miserably and even insulted many Poles... Those who won seems to be exclusively representative of eastern part of Ukraine. New ties have to be made. Orange magic is long gone. Bussiness as usual takes place. We have Euro 2012 together, lets focus on that.

Those lands belong to Slavija since the time of Great Moravia and before and after it and, if we were to be honest we would call it Sarmatia. Now, Poland being last remained true power of Sarmatia have all possible rights to reclaim those lands (real minimum).

We all know who were last masters of Pannonia and even Romans admitted it when accepted name of Pannonia for those lands. Pan Sarmats, of course.

The thing is, if someone will ask poles if this region should remain under Ukraine or be given to Hungary we will say that this should be hungarian, This is the truth, you might now want to reconsider your opinion of role of Poland in slavic future and belive me even if not majority i speak at least in name of 50% of poles when you speak only in your own name and dont tell me that other serbians share your viewpoint coz i spoke with quite a few and they dont :) many of them even hate us it seems (as a part of NATO and country that reconginsed Kosovo)

i pray and thank to God for that. Hungary needs strict control. In a blink of an eye that country could turn to Germany and serve as German lap dog in the region. So, nothing batter then Polish influence in Hungary.

Serbian services to commonwhealth are famous. Would be sh** from commonwhealth and would be even bigger sh** from Hungarian cavalry without Serbian services.

Thanks to wisdom of Polish Warlords and Kings, Serbian Winged cavalry tactics was adopted on time and introduced in Hungary and Poland.

or shell we mention how many of Hungarian nobility has direct Serbian ancestry all to the famous Hungarian King Matias and nobleman Hunyady. i don`t talk of Serbian blood in them (what is usual in nobility) but of direct family ancestry, original ancestry. If Turks didn`t come in Europe they would stay proud Serbs. Turkish menace made that many of Serbian nobility emigre in Austria, Italy and Hungary.

Even name of central sreet in Budapest Serbs gave to you- `Vaci utca` Vaci street- that was original Raci street (meaning street of Ras/Racowie- Serbs). Those were Serbian traders and noblemans that turned Budapest into decent town!

Even name of Visegrad Serbs gave to you! thanks to Polish Jadwiga`s ancestry from Bosnian Serbian nobility. Yes, so help me God!

I dont know if we attacked you directly or not but for sure we allow NATO to fly in our air to attack Serbia, we reconginsed Kosovo independence. If i were serbian i would consider this as betreyal. On the other hand i dont know what our soldiers in kosovo really do, for exeple during WWII Hungarians officialy attacked us or rather helped Germany to keep this land, but in reality they helped us on every step. So if poles there help serbians it might not be betreyal as much as i think it is
also i would say poles are traitors to their "slavic blood" our traditions our religion our culture is not similar to russian ukrainian or serbian also we always picked as a friend and ally a nonslavic countries like Hungary or Lithuania (France UK), US novadays our eagle look up to west :D
