Poles to resurrect extinct tur (aruochs)?

Polish scientists plan to bring back the long extinct auroch – an ancestor to domestic cattle - back to life with a little help from laboratory mice and rabbits.

Anyone have any input on the feasibiltiy of restoring a huge wild bovine that went extinct centuries ago? This story suggests such a project is being mulled in Poland:

Tur is animal that was very important in life of all ancient Slavs (Sarmatians)
