Poles start to feel arrogant and superior to Southern Europeans

The countries acceded the EU in 2004, entered with hard conditionality so they had really to be attentive to their fiscal and financial policy.

That is not the only reason,it comes back to culture as well.

Hate appertains to a narrow mind which are eventually pawns in the big game. The intellectuals are given more complicated feelings.
Simply saying if one says "I hate Russians/Poles" that's a clear sign of a dull wit.

Yes. You gotta give everyone a chance, unless that someone writes you off and thinks he's better than you are because his people are superior. At that point he's the wit.

If he's a wit he'll never tell his people are superior in face, even if he indeed thinks so.
