Has anyone else seen on the news some Polish child picking up a cat and repeatedly bashing it against walls and furniture...?

I am not into child abuse , but if i saw a kid doing this i would kick him so hard up the ass he would forget what the ground felt like...

What the hell were the parents doing filming him , they should have been rescuing the cat and finding it another home...

The kid needs another home too...

The little sonuvabitch and his psychopath brother who was recording this are already in custody, all animals in the house have been taken away.

If it was up to me i'd kill the little f*cks, i dont care if the kids are 15 and 3 old i'd just like to get them in my hands so i can f*cking kill them both.

No, the animals need another home and they're gonna get it, the kids need to be put down, the parents too.

Sadly , kids who behave like this often grow up to be violent serial killers....

Many of the most dangerous ones started off abusing animals , then turned later onto humans....

Which is why i'm completely serious, both kids need to be killed, strap em to a bed in some nice clean hospital and inject with something lethal.

Personally i'm an animal person i treat 'em as our equals in many respects and i firmly believe this kind of behaviour should carry a death sentence.

My cats would not be happy to be equal...they prefer to be treated as superiors...

Well cats are usually cowards and torturers that love to make their victims suffer. Average cat abuse every animal thats smaller than him.

Well, the thing that those kids enjoy abusing that cat is really bad. But cat getting abused is fair. At least in my (secluded) opinion...

Cats don,t torture any other species out of malice...they are practicing their hunting skills , which they needed to survive before humans made pets of them....

It was their hunting skills that made them popular with humans , they were welcomed into homes to protect the food supplies from mice in ancient Egypt..

It was horrible but the Chinese do much worse. There is a thread on it here but it's depressing. Wildie, when your leg got tired, I'd join in and keep kicking him up in the air. I saw it on the news about an hour ago and it drove me mad. Forgive the pun but it's a pet hate of mine. I'd probably break his nose for good measure.

Oh, I must congratulate the response of the authorities. The Poles, to their strong credit, are generally good with animals and treat them with respect. They are God's creatures just like us.

Yes , i have seen the films....its not so bad that they eat them , its the way they treat them before they do it...

In China , anything that swims , walks , crawls , or slithers is fair game for the dinner plate...

Yeah, it puts it into perspective. There is no adjective strong enough in English for me to express how I feel about that. Appalling/disgusting come up short!

Well yea, its not really out of malice more like for fun. Im sure cat enjoys 'playing' with their victim.

True, but today cats usually 'work' only as a comforters for lonely people.

Not around my home...as well as being my friends , they also ensure my farm does not burn down due to mice chewing the electrical wiring...not uncommon...

When i first moved into this farm the place was full of mice....now its not...

Yes I suppose that if someone has farm or something similar cats are useful. Thats why I said that they 'usually' work as comforters :)

True... my cats spend more time stealing the warmest and most comfortable places in the house than they do hunting mice...

I am happy to say they very rarely catch any birds , only twice in five years , i guess mice are easier to catch...

That gives no solution does it?

Rather the child must be given proper education by its parents to learn to love animals. It is important to look into what the parents were doing when the child went on to perform such a deplorable deed.

We need a healthy environment for a healthy growth of the body, mind and spirit.

Spare the rod and spoil the child....

It seems maybe the parents were spared the rod during their upbringing?

Giving a hard kick to a child would aide in his/her growth in the department of the heart? I am sorry but I guess I cannot agree to that. This might make the child afraid, but his heart is not made to feel for the animal which could not speak and was brutally treated by him, isnt it?

I do not believe in brushing the dirt under the rug, and saying that I cleaned my home ...

The parents are not supposed to show any appreciation or love to the child for such a deed, but there are other ways than to use force to a child and just put a momentary fear in him/her which is only going to stop him/her till he/she is weak enough.

I am not advocating laying the boots to the little puke, but if the parents were able to apply reasoned corporal punishment, (open hands to the clothed buttocks), along with an explanation why the behaviour is unacceptable, along with the lesson that actions have consequences, and that the punishment is meted out with a sad heart, and a dose of love, that would go a long way.

So dealing with violence with violence is the solution?

Sorry mate but i disagree. Children are not born bad.

In the genetic or environment debate I of the firm belief that environment is what makes us what/who we are.

Herein lies the root of the problem.

No such thing as a bad child, its bad parents.

Saints forgive me!!!

I have just seen the video. I'm absolutely appalled but it serves to affirm what I thought before. He has been schooled in this wickedness and clearly witnessed this on more than one occasion.

Sadly, its probably already too late for those perpetrating this abhoration.

The statistic for this is insane. Nearly every single one of them starts out by abusing small animals. It is an absolute predictor of future behavior if there ever was one. And as such should not be dismissed.

My girlfriend has a cat that I'd like to see him try that with. He rarely comes near me and I definately can't pick him up. That kid would have been hamburger.
My two cats are sissies compared to hers.

I remember seeing a kid in Leeds UK trying to swing a cat by its tail...he got shredded...

One of my cats in Poland is a big soft lovable tomcat...but he beats up Rotweilers...
