What do you all think of Poland becoming a part of the new Greater Germany under Emperess Merkel due to the Euro crisis.
Perhaps you may also think that losing the zloty for the Euro is not such a good idea.Perhaps the UK has done the best thing after all!
Soon all your money will be gone feeding the Greeks and Italians,et al.-while Merkel dines in splendour.

Rock, if Turkey were in the EU (which Von Rompuy laughed at btw) (he is a fool), what would they be doing differently? We all know Tusk is naive but how would Erdogan handle Merkozy?

you shouldnt talk/write in future tense but more in present tense. its a fact already...

that money actually is not wasted if you think like that. merkoyz use that to get even a better grip on them, like they used kleingeld for others, pl f.e..

I am quite sure Turkey will offer for the failed countries to leave euro zone temporarily. They could return when they recover. If it is not accepted Turkey would act like Britain.

A number of press articles have criticised Merkel for being too tame. Given her relatively insecure position according to some polls, she has to toughen up and the latest raft of measures will be seen as just that. However, she should beware of costly ego trips.

Nope. Markel is CDU, Christian (why?) Democratic (why ?????????) Union (!), it is as right as one legal party could be. OK there are some marginal ones hiding behind even nicer sounding names...;)

There is nothing socialist or liberal about that party or its voters . I know CDU voters. I talked to them. Interesting bunch. It was snowing and temperature fast decreased below zero C inside the restaurant.

I had to go outside to melt the ice of my eyelashes and to make my heart pump the blood back into my whiter shade of pale in my face.

;))

The whole point of the EU is to bring the countries together and to make the union stronger that if we had 27 seperate countries operating alone. The downside is Germany and France seem to have more power, because they are more worried that their ratings will be cut.

I know that not everyone here will like this, but seeing that Germany economy is performing so well, would it not be a bad thing for all of us to become a little more german in our manner in relation to our economy. As I Irishman(before you start giving out why is a irish man on here, I have company that employs 10 fulltime people in poland) I can see that our county needs a massive change in our mindset. Here you can go on the social welfare(188 euro per week), get your rent paid, your medical paid. I would prefer to see a system of people unemployed not getting cash, but getting vouchers for food and basics, maybe a little cash like 30 or 40 eur per week. Sorry I went on a bit of a rant off topic, but we need to adopt the german thinking

I heard that one before. it was an odd situation where one of the sudents of the first year of History said the similar thing about Germany being used as role model. Then Professor spoke. One sentence.

Lapsus lingue, because Germany was all about Deutsche Mark here, so it would be really nice of her to be Markel again. Wouldn't it? ;)

That part I don't doubt even slightly. I have faith in Germans. They never let the world down :))))

Polish experts say that if euro collapses, Poland will suffer 7% drop in GNP next year. That will be a disaster.

To the OP, where is the drang nach osten? You know, the major part of democracy rests with the people, of course. If Poles voted for Tusk then they must stand by their decisions. If they have sth to say about Merkel, then say it. Chirping away without coming together and doing sth is going to get Poland nowhere fast.

That is reality - Germans make Europe go round. Anybody who objects is a hypocrite. Without Germans, Greeks would have to take up begging in streets of European cities long ago.

Where is the domination? Poland hasn't been coerced into adopting the Euro. Poland has Buzek in a prominent position. Germany is the dominant power and that's the reality of the situation.

Rock, thanks for your answer btw :) :)

Actually - I think the opposite might happen. The Deutsche Mark will be extremely strong - and they would be able to pour money into buying (what would be) exceptionally cheap Polish products by their standards.

The Euro falling might not be such a terrible thing for Poland, apart from causing even more problems with the stability of the Zloty.

You have one outdated collection of pearls. Italian is the language of contemporary porn.

The best about porn is the music.

OK, back to German dominance.

It is the best thing that ever happened to the ones who are submissive or passive. There is no dominance like German.

ICH WILL, in English wonderful

I want

I want you to trust me
I want you to believe me
I want to feel your eyes
I want to control every heartbeat

I want to hear your voices
I want to disturb the peace
I want you to see me well
I want you to understand me

I want your fantasy
I want your energy
I want to see your hands
I want to go down in applause

Do you see me?
Do you understand me?
Do you feel me?
Do you hear me?
Can you hear me?
We hear you
Can you see me?
We see you
Can you feel me?

We feel you
I don't understand you

I want

We want you to trust us
We want you to believe everything from us
We want to see your hands
We want to go down in applause - yeah

Can you hear me?
We hear you
Can you see me?
We see you
Can you feel me?
We feel you
I don't understand you

Can you hear us?
We hear you
Can you see us?
We see you
Can you feel us?
We feel you
We don't understand you

I want

Without Gerries no one would be supid enough to lend them all that money in the first place thus we would avoid all the mess.

good point. Germany had its interest and now, Germany expect Poland and other Slavs and Europeans to repay for those German `investments`. Maybe Germany have plan to weaken economy of Poland (not only of Poland)
