can't answer that as I don't live in Poland, but it wouldn't suprise me as the BY economy is in shambles, soviet style state-run, so some goods overthere are bound to be cheap for Poles.

Define "in shambles". Largest GDP growth in Europe, industrial output and FDI are increasing very rapidly, almost non existent consumer debt...All that without having to sell their country to the EU.
