Mom claims daughter got pregnant from sperm floating in pool

A Polish woman has filed a lawsuit against an Egyptian hotel after claiming her teenage daughter got pregnant from using the pool.
Magdalena Kwiatkowska claims her 13-year-old daughter conceived from a stray sperm floating in the hotel’s mixed-sex pool after she took a dip, the Sun reports. The hotel was not named.
The teen returned to Poland from holiday expecting a baby. Kwiatkowska said her daughter did not meet any boys while she was in Egypt.
Tourist authorities in Warsaw confirmed the complaint. The mother is seeking compensation from the hotel.

Well the probability is quite remote, i suppose it depends on how much sperm there was in the pool. (eeeewwww!!!).
How does she know it was from the swimming pool?.

haha innit, reminds me of that Ali G scene when he talks to the vicar about the Virgin Birth and says "yeah but I know lots of girls who got pregnant and say 'how can this be?' too", lol :)

lol.... omg... i didn't laugh that good for a while now, thanks Kwiatkowska!... i'm sure she's a virgin... maybe the same had happened to the Virgin Mary when she was swimming...

it's crazy but many people believe it's actually possible. when i was at highschool the priest who taught us religia said once that us girls should test our boyfriends and their love by telling them we fell pregnant after swimming together and see what they do. the look on people's faces was more funny than this advice...

What I want to know is, what was she wearing in the Pool to get pregnant?? Cant have been much? Was she naked while swimming?? Was there a man in there previously who was spotted doing the breast stroke before she was impregnated?? :))

The pool can be a dangerous place: Kids can get sunburned or slip on the wet deck. But can the pool get you pregnant?


Magdalena Kwiatkowska of Poland thinks you can. She is suing an Egyptian hotel because she claims her 13-year-old daughter became impregnated after swimming in its pool during their recent holiday. Ms.Kwiatkowska says that there must have been errant sperm floating around just waiting to implant themselves in an unsuspecting female taking a dip. She swears that her daughter did not meet any boys during their vacation, so the mysterious sperm in the pool had to be the culprit.

Surely this lawsuit will be thrown out of court on inconceivable (pun intended) grounds. First off, wouldn't the chlorine kill any random sperm? But even further, did Ms. Kwiatkowska follow every moment of her vacationing daughter to prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that she spent absolutely no time with anyone of the opposite sex during their Egyptian holiday?

The only reassuring thing about this story, perhaps, is that frivolous lawsuits are not exclusively an American thing.

Once the baby is born, it should have a unique DNA, surely, it is only a matter of obtaining the DNA from all men working and staying at the hotel at the time to establish whose sperm it was. Now that would be interesting. Some man is the father of the child and should pay alimony.
This might just prevent other girls jumping into pools where men (and young boys) have previously been -
...if this was the answer, it would solve the problem of so many women not able to et pregnant - what good luck that this has happened.
