Unfortunately, you are the sad one, displaying a basic ignorance of the history of Palestine/Israel.

In any case, for the Jews this release is a victory because their Halakah teaches that the life of one Jew is worth more than a thousand 'goyim'.

Personally, I am glad that the Israeli soldier will get to go home to his family (although he will be forced to endure weeks or months of debriefing by Shin Bet)...I am also very happy to see the Palestinians released, many of whom were women.

My friend's parents (aussies) who were born in Lviv, cannot even visit their place of birth without flying first to Frankfurt or Moscow and then another 2 hour flight to Kiev and then long train or bus ride to Lviv. They even need a visa to visit their home town which they need to wait and pay for. They even have to go through humiliating pat down searches at all airports. Isn`t it humiliating?

There is no way Israel will give Palestinians right to vote, and no way Israel will agree to two state solution. The best solution for Palestinians would be get independence and best solution for Israel would be that Palestinians will disappear from the face of earth. So what is the chances of that happening ? I would say zero or I have better chances of seeing my dead grandmother playing soccer.
