Crow, Tusk was just currying favour with his EU buddies. The Czech Republic also did likewise but it's all about timing. Their PM (Topalek??) sometimes caused problems. It's interesting that they recognise Kosovo yet Slovakia don't. That could be a bit of tit-for-tat politics between them.
