Polish Radio reports that Polish women are the most enterprising becuase 37% of OPoland's bsuiness owners are women. Should that figure be increased through some legislated parities or quotas and left to its own devices?

37% self-employed woman is a very impressive figure. One issue with that is this may be an effect of discrimination in larger companies where reaching board level is prevented.
The problem I see with quotas for boardrooms is it brings accusations or harboured ideas of tokenism. Naming and shaming companies with poor records of job promotion amongst women,(not just the ones who reach Directorships) is a better way to go, imho.

If this was done it would have to be done for other groups also and reversed in favour of men if it went the other way(hospital has too many female nurses! Legislation or name them and shame them?), I am not sure would it break any EU laws. These kinds of laws could lead to some very interesting situations.

I get the idea of the title of the thread also but it is phrased in a way that makes it appear racist: "Polish women most enterprising?" "Black men have the biggest *****"
