WARSAW—A rights group said Friday it had obtained records indicating that seven CIA planes landed in Poland in 2002 and 2003, backing claims of a secret interrogation facility for Al-Qaeda suspects.

The official records showed that five of the planes that landed at a remote northeastern airfield had arrived with passengers but left with only crew, the Warsaw branch of the independent Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights said.

There was a documentary on this. A Polish guy was arrested for collaboration. Poland unquestionably has facilities in this regard, tucked away in remote forests.

When Scotland found out that American were flying their torturers through Scottish airports, we put a stop to it - why didn't Poland ?

US still uses British airports.

Poland is not just a transit point, but also is involved in the torture.

Russia Today ran an interesting story on this. It would appear that certain Poles were in on it and highly active.

Well, according to press reports, plk123. That's not to say it happened beyond all reasonable doubt as the press is often wrong. Why speculate when heavy allegations are involved?

to me it's pretty much beyond reasonable doubt at this point.. these "stories" have been floating about since 2002 or so.. which is basically since the beginning of the "war on terror" bs

btw, do you know what this [ ;) ] means? :)

Hahaha, a rights group? Animal rights, Human rights, General rights? Right wing group? What?

The CIA sends men everywhere within their sphere of influence and especially in the spheres where the US does not have any influence, they call them advisors in the spheres of influence, spies in the other spheres.

They were indeed on higher alert after 9/11 - every country has now "facilities for interrogation of suspected Al Quaeda-members". So it's not surprising PL may have such a facility as well.

Nothing new as the former East Bloc countries are especially interesting being the former enemy.

Hm, PL becoming a big dog on the world's stage? Perhaps, but not in the near future.
