It is a great bank the only reason they got it was because Allied Irish ( irish Gov) had to offload. Santander has just bought a bank in the UK as well, I guess doing biz in south and central America pays off.

Is that all, i mean 512 throughout the whole country is not a lot really.

It's not a real picture, because they have quite a widespread network of "agents" - who offer many BZWBK products.

Disaster for Wroclaw/Poznan though - Santander will almost certainly cull many of the back office jobs.
