Zimno w tym roku, morze nastepny Ice Age idzie.

It's cold this year, here in the states too. All over the world is cold. Climate change is true, but it is getting colder not warmer.

actually extreme weather phenomena (and not only the weather ones) are a direct product of the minds (or consciousness) of people - it is also the return of karma

they have predicted considerable cooling for today with rainfall but nobody have foreseen snowfall I guess - I was looking at jet stream configuration ( http://www.wunderground.com/global/Region/EU/2xJetStream.html ) a couple of days back and it looked like we are going to have one direct from the north but I never thought it may eventually result in snow

Up here in Zachodniopomorskie we don,t have any snow but there is a plague of frogs and locusts....

Gumishu. You should look up something called the "AO" or "Arctic Oscillation" when the Artctic oscillation is negative that means cold air spills into Europe and North America from the North Pole. When it is Positive the Cold air stays at the pole. Look it up online, but we are forecast to drop very low negative like in January when here in the states was very cold snow in Texas and northern Florida. 20cm snow in Texas.

it happens when the trees are in leaf - similar thing happened two years ago when snow fell in mid-October and most trees were still in leaf

is it where you live pawian?

just seen the forecast for the night - they predict up to 4 Celsius below zero for the night for the south-western Poland - does not look very optimistic - apple trees are in bloom right now - don't believe most other fruits will survive it too - like blossoming strawberries

Nope, it is somewhere in south-west Poland. Krakow has been spared.

Those pics are incredible:

Snow? It was 100 F near Los Angeles today, which I think is 38 C . It's going to be even hotter tomorrow.

Big Deal. Snow. Wow. We get snow here in June in the mountains. I guess Poles learn something new everyday
GrzegorzK  May 4, 11, 06:16    #26
Wasn't in the mountains Tygrys it was in lowlands. My grandmother lives in Krakow and she said it was snowing there yesterday too.

I wouldn't worry about it, time doesn't exist...the end of the world already occurred. We're living in the period between the Big Bang and the end of the world.

tygrys do you live in Poland or America? I'm guessing w Polsce. My family is from Krakow and east of Krakow, and they don't remember snow in May, however they do remember really cold winter. My dad used to tell me about the very sever winters in his town of Koszyce, when he was younger so like in the 60's. It's colder here in America too this year. It snowed in Texas this year close to Mexico. And heavy frosts and snow in San Francisco which hasn't happened in 30 years. Something is changing thats all I know, and it's not warming, it's getting colder. Here in New York we had 5 feet of snow near my house and New York city about 1.5 hour drive south of my house had a new RECORD of snow in Central park, it was over 70 inches which would be like 150-200CM I think. not sure exactly how many exactly it is in CM too lazy to convert. But it's a record of New york City ever since the 1880. So something is going on, and it's not warming, its cooling.
