I want to know this man.

So does many other people. Write him a letter, maybe it'll work.
Incidentally, I will be meeting him on 3 Oct., not as my dream fullfilment though.

If you do meet him please ask him why he was wearing a spoon attached to his belt in this famous photograph taken as he was leaving the Gdansk shipyards to meet with Pope John-Paul II.

and how many hours a day do you think he is sitting on skype - wouldn't you be pretty upset when everyone wanted to chat with you while you just want to read some news on the web

He walked by me at the Munich airport with his bodyguards- to which I promptly noted "holy sh1t! that is Lech Walesa!" He thought it was funny.

Walesa'll do anything for cash. Turning down a cool million dollars from Gilette just to shave was a bit stupid, though.

He is on skype most of the day and is well known for chatting away on skype or Gadu Gadu - in fact he is online right now.
Skype
Of course he will refuse to chat to you if he is busy which is only common sense.

me, too.

i would like to talk to Pan Walesa. We can talk about future mega trends in Europe, about necessity of Centroslavia (some kind of Slavic association/confederation, from Baltic to Balkan). It would be very interesting to learn, what Pan Walesa think about it and what could be Poland`s and Serbia`s role in formation of Centroslavia.

So, Pan Walesa, if you eventually read this what i write, please feel free to contact me via Moderators of this forum. Thanks

I suspect Wałęsa devotes as much time to this non-idea as almost every other Pole, i.e. none whatsoever.

why do you talk in the name of Pan Walesa and rest of the Poles? Who are you? French? Saudi? German? Jew? Brit? Turk? American?

If you read my comment again, you'll see that I said "suspect". I don't know what Wałęsa thinks, but as I can't remember him saying anything at all about a panslavik federation I guess he's not that much interested. I don't speak for Poles and I don't claim to. Who am I? Just someone who lives here and talks to Poles every day about the things that concern them. In over ten years nobody has ever told me they want anything like what you describe.

Pan Walesa

You certainly shouldn't call him that.

Prezydent Wałęsa, to you!
