Greece was the first example

The growing welfare states create dependency.

But there is no welfare state in Greece. Greeks just riot because it's a national sport there...they have been doing it for years.

sounds like the fox "news" propaganda is working on you.

You have a clear case of Fox News envy. If some of what I noted coincides with some of the views at Fox News then I can't argue the point about them being wrong.
Since I'm a news junkie, it should be obvious by now that I scan and watch all the cable networks as well as the so-called main stream leftist media.

But there is no welfare state in Greece.

Welfare takes many forms and Greeks among others begot a welfare mentality which is a social disease nurtured by liberals. Prime Minister George Papandreou's reforms included a $20 billion in public spending cuts. These would include many public sector job losses, as well as restrictions on welfare benefits. Naive, spoiled Europeans are not like their ancestors who actually believed in a work ethic. Bailing out a country which has a retirement age of 55 is preposterous.

You probably just don't like her Adam's apple.

Spearhead pinpoints Pinheads.

From the link: "And if London’s burning now, just wait to see what happens in the coming years, once the economy collapses and the welfare checks stop coming. If you happen to live in the UK and haven’t left yet (as I thankfully did earlier this year), better start preparing for war."

I'm not that pessimistic but it's good that the Second Amendment is alive and well in the U.S.
