I think he's doing a good job but I'm not there. What do you think?

He's doing the job that he was elected to do - be stable, reliable and present a good impression of Poland being a mature country. He's also rarely using his executive power, which is good - there's no appetite in Poland for a President which routinely meddles in the affairs of Parliament.

really, he's a steady hand - nothing showy, nothing impressive, but stable. It's what the voters wanted, really.

Anna Komorowska is doing a fantastic job as First Lady though - she's really getting out there and meeting all sorts of people - I'd say that she seems to be carrying on the good work that the previous one did.

Yes. He's the first president they've had in decades who hasn't put a foot wrong.

In a moment you'll hear no end of his faux pas and spelling mistakes.

Is that all they can come up with?

of course not. there's all the evil of the world. somebody's gotta be blamed for that.

we have a saying in Polish: gdy się chce uderzyć psa, to kij się zawsze znajdzie (if you want to hit a dog you'll always find a stick).
it's true of any political discussion.
