Any news concerning Poland entering Schengen group?

Just wanted to know the last news concerning Poland entering the Schengen Group.. is there something new or any thing has been heard? i am asking coz i wanna my coming next year and need to know the new visa procedures if here are

You will not be forced to legitimate yourself with your ID anymore when entering the country from the 1st of January next year on. However, when entering the country by airplane, they will still check your ID until March, as far as I remember the news. They have been published only a few weeks (maybe 2) ago. You should find something on that on the web.
