well i hope u will find what you are looking for, anybody would be bitter after experiences like that and its good to hear you are still positive in the end of the day... id be extra cautious about trusting people you meet online though, even if they seem very genuine. i think you can never be too cautious!

I don't know where you got your facts from mate...but I am Indian and travel a fair bit and have never come across Indian TESOL/TEFL teachers in Poland or other countries.
However, I have come across some posts from Indians who would like to be TESOL teachers..... but i can bet my boots that they did not get the job the appplied for ... The Indians teaching TESOL or what have you...are invariably nationals of the Anglophone Western nations....who generally try to hide their ethnic origin behind their passports and posh accents. So be warned when you do meet the odd brown man or girl in that pub...they not Indian at all...they are simply the Brown face of the UK or USA..scratch them a bit and you will find them as Western as your next John Bull or Jane Doe..

I also think that there is general contempt for the Indian accent from the Indian subcontinent and an illogical belief that you can cultivate a native speaker accent if taught by someone from the USA/UK etc.. I have met loads of people from Taiwan, Korea who spent 6 months in the USA and still have horrible pronunciation. One must factor in that India is very poor country and the excellence available there is very often obfuscated by both the poverty and corruption that persists in some many aspects of India.

Also English is still an SL for most Indians and they can mostly be classed as either competent or fluent speakers, capable of making slight grammtical or collocation errors. On the other hand, the native English speaking population in India is quite small...less than 80 million and they are generally upper class with good education who then move to the USA or Australia, complete higher education and become academics or stay in India and occupy lucrative careers in the private sector. They certainly see no need to travel abroad to 2nd world countries and other daunting locales to teach English. TESOL is a definitely a low paying employment option in Europe and the real money lies n East and West Asia..


Lastly, IRP (Indian Recommended Pronunciation) which is the standard accent used by newsreaders on TV is definitely better than any other accent and certainly better than accents by Eastern European newsreaders in English bulletins. Strangely the accents used on Western media always showed the strereo typed Indian accent of less fluent English speakers in India.... perhaps in time we will deal with that biases too as over come it. too as we always do... one only needs to check our recent history to know what I am saying is true.

No.They young ones become hard as rock as well.Even polish legs have some unusual strength.A lot of resistance to close.

I think the majority of Polish women are very beautiful. It's ashame I'm not a lesbian. So I can see why foreign men come to Poland and Polish men want to keep their Polish women.

: ) I appreciate the pictures; I guess it comes down to personal preferences. Polish men who prefer tall blond girls would think I'm not all that because I'm petite and black-haired. So it goes both ways.

In terms of character, there's a lot going for the Polish male; his masculinity, his pride, his sense of tradition and family, he's a gentleman etc...

All this makes him very attractive to Polish women who have the same values and of course want the Polish men. The fact that Polish guys are surrounded by beautiful Polish women might make them think they don't have to try very hard with their appearance to get a beautiful girl so they don't?

To the Polish men out there, you're beautiful too, every woman loves a toned fit body to grab (you're lucky you've already got the height - something you can't fix with exercise), make your woman proud...And Polish women, I know you love them, be happy I'm not after your man. Hehe...
