Old Polish/east european song title

Ok,remarkably enough my bog standard car radio here in the north of england can pick up Jedenka Warsaw radio....Tonight Ive just heard a song 20.25gmt 21 .25 polish time,Its an old 1930s song(the version on the radio sounded 1970s lounge room style though) that goes to a tango rythem. Its the theme music to a brilliant russian film called,Burnt by the Sun and is also one of the tunes the two jewish musicians play in schindlers list(the accordianist is the dark haired Polish actor from ,when the violins stop playing) So Im guessing it was popular all over central and eastern europe in the 30s. I do have it on an old Polish 33' double album of WW2 resistence songs that was made into a stage play but unfortunatly it is one of a medly that the titles arnt clear too.
If all thats a bit vague,sorry,but any help witha Polish title will be much appreciated,ta very much:)

it's "To ostatnia niedziela" (1935) [the title can be very often seen as "Ta ostatnia niedziela"] - it's credited in the movie, but I guess you're not fluent in Russian :)

Russian lyrics: Josif Alvek (1937) - the title of the Russian translation "Утомленное солнце" became, after a little modification, also the original title of Nikita Mikhalkov's movie Burnt by the Sun [Utomlyonnye solntsem])

Another great hit by Petersburski was Tango milonga (known in the West as Oh, Donna Clara)

lol,no,but I did start learning russian along time before I tried Polish :)
(dont remember it being in 3colours white though,good excuse to watch it again ! :) )

btw, the file on rapidshare contains 20 songs in mp3 format (128 kb/s), I was hoping it was just the one in a good (lossless) quality. The file is encrypted, the password is marog (like the username of the person who posted the link on some forum). The songs are sung by Mieczysław Fogg (the performer of the original version from 1935), if you need the Russian version, you have to do some search.
