What is your opinion on Marriage?

Is it worth getting married if you love somebody you love them right, so why all the fancy dresses and name swapping what does it prove??.

Are you going to get married?? do you believe in Marriage??

i have the sayings

marriage is like a funeral just with better music.

or

marriage is a great excuse for a p1ss up at someone else's expense



Maybe i will maybe i wont .. but to me though if you are happy as you are why potentially spoil that just for the sake of a piece of paper and in the case of us females a name change (last name)

Marriage-- I was in my best friends wedding a few weeks ago. The happy couple has been together for a little over 3 years.--and I guess I have other coutless weddings this year. You ask what does it prove?... Well I would say devotion on a deeper level... it's kind of like making it offical. Tradition. Am I going to get married? Humm, who knows, it's possible if I love someone enough to get married to them.

I belive in marriage because it stands for commitment and faithfulness.. although not everyone follows the rules. But I would hope that if the day would ever come that it would be full of joy.. and not too expensive.

but relatively high divorce rate in industrialized countries show that love alone is not enough in a marriage or else it'll be doomed to end.

because its one night of your whole life that you get to share with your whole
family and friends the happiest day of your life.. its a beginning to a union that will
last forever.

BUT: to put it to you bluntly.....

you could always stay single, father 10 children from 10 different ladies and pay
child support up the arse and live off bread and peanut butter while your children
call you a nothing because you cant even afford a car to visit them all on different
occasions and your parents cant help cause they are to busy * babysitting *

you siblings are all married and vacationing in paris and enjoying their newborn
and spending quality time together , buying a new home and cars.. and living
a life they always dreamed of...
