Witam... My name is Kris. I am a musician (guitarist and singer)..My parents are having their 25th anniversary soon..In July... We have a polish band...

I thought it would be nice if I surprised my parents and sang a song (in polish) with the band..But not just any song...I want a good song (preferably a ballad) that would serve as a listening song. (So that everybody would especially appreciate the lyrics)...I was planning to dedicate it to my parents of course. Can anyone please help me find a good song?! I'm running out of time. Any help would be very much appreciated. If you could include the name of the song and the artist that would be great. Thanks again.

It really depends what kind of music your band is into and if there's a woman or man who's singing! Check these:

Rezerwat "Zaopiekuj się mną" URL

Various Manx "Ruchome piaski" URL

Chocolate Spoon "Jestem wolny" URL

Dżem "Alex" URL

Kancelaria "Zabiorę Cię właśnie tam" URL

Personally I would rather chose Chocolate Spoon or Kancelaria. I hope it helps. Let me know which one you want to sing and if you want me to find lyrics or any other help just let me know here: ) Good luck

I'd rather suggest something from the 70's (assuming your parents were born around 1960) - from their teen-age years

Wow. Wyspianska, thank you so much. That helps a a lot. I especially really like the one by Kancelaria. I also agree with you too though, Krzysztof. It would also be better to sing something that is older during their time (also preferably a slow smooth ballad like Kancelaria). Any other ideas, guys? Thanks again so much

Umm allright, you need to buy me a big beer because I still want to help you Krzysiek :D Here I prepared some ballads from the 70's

Janusz Laskowski "Siedem dziewcząt z Albatrosa" URL

Czerwone gitary "Historia jednej znajomości" URL

Czesław Niemen "Dziwny jest ten świat" URL

I'll think of some others if you won't like any of these though I think Czesław Niemen is a good idea :)

Wyspianska,

well to answer your beer comment..are you from New Jersey? haha ...Anyway... thanks a lot for all those songs.. So far, I think I like the Zabiore cie wlasnie tam... Also, I come from a rock background (maybe thats why I like it a lot..it has some nice guitars lol)...Not that that is what kind of music I'm looking for for this occasion, but the melody in that song appeals to me the most. Thanks again.
