Crap. I'm not a fan of Rydzyk but you can find more fundamentalistic Protestant radio stations and TV shows in America or Islamic even in Europe and that's OK but somehow RM becomes almost a global issue, which only makes this guy famous.

according to Wprost, Rydzyk is ranked 80th on the list of most wealthy Poles, that's what I heard, I didn't check their ranking, so this "information" is by no means accurate, it's a hear-say

Ukpolska, they say in Poland: if you say A you outta say B. So why would the Radio Maryja be 'crappy'? Please, give some facts, evidence. Thanks in advance.

Krzysztof, Wprost is a neo-commie tabloid, owned by Mr Krol - a former high-ranking commie official (member of the Central Committee of the Polish United Workers' Party). He and psychopaths helping him run his horrible Polonophobic rag have been caught lying their conks off countless times. Father Rydzyk is a monk who owns nothing apart from his robe and rosary. Now you prove that he is a wealthy man.

re and there he goes brainwashing new generations in his school

- Well, any evidence of this alleged 'brainwashing'? And to begin with, any evidence of Father Rydzyk owning a school?!

How about if it's you who have been branwashed against Radio Maryja and Father Rydzyk by horrible rags, such as Wprost and Gazeta Wyborcza?

do I really have to prove anything, I said clearly that my statement may be inaccurate, as I don't read Wprost (I heard it on TV or read in some newspaper, but can't remember what paper it was), and even if I read Wprost, there would be no way for me to check someone's income/funds owned

re: i hear as well they have antisemitism broadcasts as well

- Who do you hear this from? And what is actually meant by 'antisemitic'? Any examples of those 'antisemitic broadcasts,' or as usual just some vague general accusatory statements?

By the way, I am of the firm opinion that the Jewish Polonophobia is million times nastier than the Polish Jewphobia. So even if Radio Maryja has broadcast anything not to the Jewish and Jew-phile taste (but what on earth would that be?), it must be nothing compared to the constant Polonophobic hate propaganda on the part of many Jews. The evidence of this Jewish Polonophobia can be found in abundance e.g. on the internet. But I bet that 'anglicy' doesn't go to a Jewish website and inquire about it. Right?

re: you know, elderly ladies sure can be generous

- Any one has the right to do with his or her money what he or she pleases. As one Polish girl working in England (on a menial job) has put it: I can shove what I earn right into the gutter if I want to.

Do those 'elderly ladies' you speak of so condescendingly poke their noses into what you do with your dough (provided you've got any)?

Oh God, what kind of education is prevalent in schools nowadays? No training in Socratic thinking, dialectics; no responsibility for one's statements, no ability straightaway to give evidence one's statements are based on, no ethics of critical thnking. In fact, no critical thinking; no questioning. But that's what kind of folks the global-economy psycho-elites need: ignortant masses with totally malleable minds.

Most critical opinions about this radio comes from people who doesnt listen to it.
Especially young people, who think they have their own mind, and of course following the modern developement - doesnt belive in anything.

Radio Maryja , I think thats the only place in the Europe where you can call and say straight away what you think about this or that, where in western world many people say the same but only among small well known groups after few beers. Level of political correctness is just terrifyng, pushing our thoughts somewhere behind daily, smily mask :)

And what about the tapes? About president's wife.
(Obviously I'm just a brainwashed by evil Wyborcza and TVN kid.)

Of course they do. They can even pay for building a big and tasteless sanctuary in the exact middle of Poland (I mean Licheń. It is tasteless.) And, correct me if I'm wrong, I have the right to say/write what I think about it. Am I being offensive? Oh, those ladies do poke noses into other things. E. g. what I wear, wether I live with a boy or a girl, wether I have sex before marriage, what I listen to.
I never said it's a bad thing they believe in their God. They say it's bad I don't believe in him.

re: And what about the tapes? About president's wife.

- What about them? So the mysterious tapes would be evidence of Radio Maryja's alleged brainwashing (of whom? President's wife possibly?) and of Father Rydzyk's owning a school? :)

re: Obviously I'm just a brainwashed by evil Wyborcza and TVN kid.

- If you say so... :)

re: They can even pay for building a big and tasteless sanctuary in the exact middle of Poland (I mean Licheń. It is tasteless.)

- Yes, they can. Why would it be 'tasteless'? Personally, I don't see it as tasteless, nor do millions of other Poles.

But yes, the types from the neo-communist Gazeta Wyborcza and TVN (private TV owned by ex-communist propagandist Walter) seem to share your distaste for the Lichen temple....

re: I have the right to say/write what I think about it.

- Alas, you do. Many human beings are being taught how to read and write, but in some cases it's not sure why.

re: Am I being offensive?

- Oh, bagatelle! You've perhaps only hurt feelings of the most unimportant people on earth - Christians.

re: Oh, those ladies do poke noses into other things. E. g. what I wear, wether I live with a boy or a girl, wether I have sex before marriage, what I listen to.

- Oh, are they really set so much against the poor Klamka? Klamka- the victim of Radio Maryja elderly female supporters?

One of the reasons the Vatican does not sanction it, because they are political when what they should be is more concerned with spreading the word of the lord.

re: One of the reasons the Vatican does not sanction it

- In reality, Ranj, the Vatican, that is the present (German) Pope (greatly venerated in Poland, by the way) has found nothing wrong with Radio Maryja, and so has the Polish Episcopate.

It's the commiefascist media in Poland and their buddies in other European countries, notably in Italy and Germany, who adamantly and noisily don't 'sanction' Radio Maryja. Now tell me how's that that e.g. the commiefascist Republicca in Italy scribbles exactly the same dirty stuff about the Radio as does the commiefascist Gazeta Wyborcza in Poland? Are they some relatives, perhaps of the same ethnicity? Isn't it interesting?

Very misleading, Puzzly.....in fact the controversy surrounding RM has split the Polish Episcopate.....some support and some don't. Also, it was JP II (Poland's Pope) who although initially supported RM, became very disconcerted with the fact that they were spewing more Politics than the word of God.

Good points, Puzzler and Misiek. It's good to see that there are still people in Europe who aren't fooled by communist and socialist propaganda against the Church and the Polish nation. I don't speak Polish, and cannot judge the supposed "antisemitic" content of Radio Maryja directly, but I am very skeptical about reports in the junk-media that allege this.

I must agree with Puzzler that the Polonophobia coming from some elements of the Jewish community--while never recognized or pointed out in the media as such--is at least as great, if not greater, than the possible anti-Jewish sentiment on the part of some Poles.

My gut-feeling regarding the "Radio Maryja controversy" is this:

The radio station is a legitimate and courageous hold-out of the REAL Catholic church in Poland, and Father Rydzyk has more character and bravery than most priests for standing up for traditional culture--against the New World Order, Amerika-kultur, E.U.S.S.R. or whatever you want to name it.

The anti-national and anti-religious leadership of the E.U., as represented by the WProst and other papers, are against the Catholic church and especially Radio Maryja because it represents an alternative to their purely secular, socialist, and materialist vision of the future. Radio Maryja represents one of the last vestiges of true Polish identity--both religious and national--and the new E.U. elites do NOT believe in religions or nations. (In this respect they are Polonophobic.)

The only problem with this is that it's under the guise of being a religious program when in actuality it's a political forum with a religious edge.
