English-speaking Mortgage Advisor in Warsaw?

I'm looking at buying a second apartment, and I'd like to discuss my options with someone. Can anyone recommend a name, or just a bank branch, with English speaking staff? I've been into a few and been treated with blank stares or embarrassed laughs. I also filled in a few online applications, stating "ENGLISH" and got called back by a Polish-only tele-operator...

My Polish is average, but certainly not good enough to discuss the pros and cons of a 30-year repayment plan.

I recommend Baron Subrosa - just google and find him on facebook - he's mortgage adviser in Poland. I hope you find it helpful:)

hello everybody,
although I'm polish, i've been living as expat abroad for 10 years so I can understand many of your problems here smile

I work now as independent financial advisor, helping my clients with mortgages, savings and investments, mainly in Silesia, Kraków and Warsaw.

Oppenheim Enterprise are good for mortgages. The link is to their site in Polish, however some of their staff can speak English and they are solid and respectable. They tend to try a bit harder than places like Expander and Open Finance and can usually get you a better deal. They are particularly good with unusual cases, for example expats whose main home is outside Poland.
