Wondering if anyone can help me cos I'm at a loss. I need a metal suitcase repaired and I dont know the name of the place I need to take it, not even in English. I basically need the metal edging replaced and new rivets put into it. My wife who is Polish doesnt even know where I would need to take sth like this. Id be grateful if someone could help me here.

I think you should go to a '¶lusarz' ('us³ugi ¶lusarskie', '¶lusarstwo')

¶lusarz is a locksmith but they tend to do much wider scope of jobs here in Poland

new rivets put into it.

can't you just use some small nuts and bolts in place of rivets. cost would be around 5zl.

or borrow a pop-rivet gun/tool

I need a metal suitcase repaired

A welder could probably do the repairs for you. I've had items not automobile-related, welded by a local muffler shop before. They've also got access to lots of various sizes of bolts, which may needed for repairs.

A sincere thanks PF, for putting up with me FIVE terrific years, muah!

I suggest you use someone who is a welder by day and a dancer by night.
